Press Release: Urge

Urge BP unveils the Deltar Full face helmet!

Finally, a helmet to fly... or near enough, as it’s aimed at gravity riding in mountain bike and BMX and we do spend air time in a bike park or a DH or BMX track.

The Deltar is essentially designed to protect its rider and leave them enough change in their pocket to pay their round at the end of the ride. All the required features to spend long days on the bike are here with an ergonomic design and the ability to accept any goggles.

As usual, Urge BP focuses on eco-responsability and delivers to you a helmet made at 85% from recycled materials collected from the automobile industry. A commitment to environmental protection that became the main guideline of the brand and we are also a contributor to the 1% For The Planet program.

Strong look, smart thinking and small price, don’t look anywhere else, you’ll only find it at Urge BP.

Large up to 58cm? I'd already be concussed once I've jammed it onto my head.

What is this? A helmet for ants?

And with the small... why are they making “kids sizes”... babies typically don’t ride.

Small one will be great for my kid. He is soon to be 6 and he's going to get a brand new bike. And helmet. 53-54 cm should fit well

In a world where you can easily spend 8 grand on an off the shelf bike with no custom fit or tuning, only to find it superseded after a year by something much "better", I'm very happy to see an affordable protection item that's been thoughtfully engineered to benefit the planet as well as the user.

What's affordable is unique to each rider (or their parents) but I'd be far more likely to replace a crashed up lid if the rrp is 90 euros. Still not a small sum of money, but a lot more reasoable than most.

Well done Urge. You may just get your hands on some of my hard earned cash.

I think the thing that hurt most when getting my first MTB concussion was knowing I just broke a $350 helmet... which I then replaced with another (different brand/ model) $350 helmet

Get this for like a dollar, or get the Fox Proframe for like a bajillion dollars. This looks A-OK as long as it works I guess. "If I had a million dollars, I'd buy you a Fox Proframe, and some vent holes, if I had a million dollars, but I don't"

No one refer this, I think is aside head protection the best atribute for this brand.

Looks like it would be super warm on the hot days with the lack of ventilation. I have an urge to stick with my Leatt

 Made for winter riding!

Enduro-Matic was surprisingly cool, far better than almost any other lid I have had. EM only has 4 small holes on it, but the air flowed really well. I also have the Supa-Trail or whatever it’s called, and it has 3x the vents, but it’s way hotter than EM. I think less holes, properly purposed , is better than a very open helmet. I currently have Bontrager’s new lid, with wave cell and it is cool, but too heavy and expensive
