I for one welcome 'inspiration features' It gives you something to aim for in terms of progression. I'm riding lines now that I wouldn't of thought possible 1 year ago. More pro lines the better if you ask me.

Not every trail has to be as easy as “family guy”.
Or tailored to suit every rider.
This trail doesn’t look that difficult, just know your limits. When your limits hold you back, man up, keep trying. That’s how you get better.

It took me years to link together and clear my now favourite trails.

If if where easy, it wouldn’t be fun.

Also, not everyone aims to be able to ride those features.. I am happy with smaller tables and the occasional drop.. no need to be flying 5meters in the air....

I agree that builds like this encourage progression but I've been on both the inside and the outside where it's really hard to progress without someone helping you along. This is not a trail where a tourist can show up and push their riding forward independently, but it's definitely one you can train with your better riding friends and quickly get comfortable flowing through.

Chill!? I mean what the actual f&$! I’ll have a double serving of whatever the hell they’re eating for breakfast on a serious note I don’t understand why a bike park would build something like that when likely a (small) single digit percentage of all their visitors could actually ride it like it was designed for

Rode it last week on my trail bike. Can confirm, super chill if you can ride it.
Built well with obvious speed requirement for each feature.
Rest of the bike park has similar features of various scale to build up to this + rest of the park is rad.
10/10 would recommend to a friend.
10/10 would come back for party trains.

It is actually a good thing that places build more well build big jumps. It's already enough easy Flow Trails.

It encourages progression. Bike park near me recently built a massive pro line, the biggest on the East coast, and it has drawn so many more riders and so many people have progressed. Its sick

The world has enough blue flow. There has never been more easy trails to choose from for a beginner. If your an advanced jump rider, you usually have one trail at the most, if even that. Bike parks are so focused on selling rentals to tourists its getting pretty rare to see something that isn't an 11th blue flow trail on a map

The bike world needs more hard trails. The only (relatively) small place I've ridden that I felt had sufficient difficult trails was the Sea to Sky area not saying it's like that everywhere but it would be really nice if more bikeparks and trail networks would cater to riders who are able to hit something bigger than 3 foot drops without almost crashing

Just to be clear on that I know that there's lots of places with sufficient difficult riding but I've found that living in central BC the only way to always have hard stuff to ride is to either live in the sea to sky or to drive constantly. Both extremely expensive options nowadays. So please bikeparks make harder shit to ride
