Video: We Are One Enduro Team in Val di Fassa

In the Land of Ferraris, 5 Euro Margherita Pizzas, and road cyclists as far as the eye can see, the 4 young Canadians on the We Are One Enduro Team experienced the trails that Northern Italy had to offer in the 3rd stop of the EWS. Coming off of a high in Petzen-Jamnica the week before, the boys were excited to prove themselves once again. One of them may have been TOO excited as Johnathan Helly found himself in the clinic after a crash on stage #3. The other riders however found themselves with solid results that left them hungry for more.


Emmett had a strong race in Val Di Fassa, riding consistent and clean all day. With a couple second place stage results he was in the battle for a podium position. The last stage of the day, Emmett made a couple mistakes that cost him the precious 4 seconds that would keep him off the podium and slot him into fourth place on the day. Earning his best EWS result yet and staying upright all day Val Di Fassa was a win all around. Emmett is looking forward to continuing to build speed through the rest of the season.


Coming off of a good Pro stage result (14th) Jack was ready to go as we headed into Sunday. After a crash on stage one, he struggled to find his flow in the Italian Dolomites. The following stages proved to be a challenge for Jack as he fell further in the standings. He finished strong and brought home a 30th place on the day.


Jacob had a great day of riding but not the best racing. He had a tough time finding the right headspace and made a few mistakes that had him pretty far back in the standings. Honouring the UNESCO world heritage site he took only photos and left only faceplants! Jacob is stoked to get in some solid riding at home before racing the North American block! On to the next!
