Video: William Robert is Something Special in 'Fly Sideways'

French Freerider William Robert is all in. When scheming his latest edit, William decided he wanted to showcase his take on what modern freeride is all about, and sculpted the Bernex Bike Park to create the lines and shots he had in mind.

“It’s a good combo between park and freeride. These special lines that we built, there’s big jumps and super original sections - like steep and fast lines, too - It’s everything that you can find in a modern bike park,” he said.

Fly Sideways showcases a combination of perfect terrain, the genesis of the modern international freeride movement and a sneak peek into awesome potential of park days aboard the new Shore Park.

“And from my side, the future of freeride is to mix between big jumps and beautiful sections of trail. You need to be stylish on both the big jumps and in the steep sections of trail to be a freerider."

Making that Norco look really good! William could almost be Canadian, eh! And the bike seems perfect if you can't make up your mind between a Commencal Supreme or a Scott Gambler. Those poor folks had to get a Trek Session before. Now they got another option. Thank you, Norco. I'll look into this if my Furious ever falls apart...

He's a good rider but he always films on stuff other people built.

@holdandhope: Why talk when you don’t know ? In this video, he dig the whole Line with his build crew, last year he works everyday during more than 3 months on his home spot just for a big edit, he dig an entiere line in utah for another project, another big Line in Les2Alpes... everywhere he go, he took a shovel

@Anonymousguy: Stop making shit up and get a really account, troll. He tried to win go pro line of the year on someone else's track that says it all....
  • 4 1
@holdandhope: Oooooh okaaay, so i hope you only ride on the tracks that you created and you never take pics or video on any bikeparks ! In addition, your argument is not valid because I do not think that all the participants in the go pro contest have filmed on their own lines. And if your only passion in life is to put shitty comments under videos of people who work hard to bring us great content, I pity you because your life must be very sad. And don't even bother to answer me if it's to keep spitting venom behind your small screen.

I know the No Nut November can be hardait some so i don’t évent blame you.

Have a nice day
Peace man ✌????

If I was a top freerider I'd build my own track for a go pro of the year entry is all I'm saying. Got nothing against the guy wish him all the best, hope to see him build the mother of all lines for next years entry and make me look like an idiot. You on the otherhand are a right plonker....

I lived just near Bernex Bike Park, we found the spot with a buddy and the building is gorgeous but no room for mistakes here. The wooden step down reception is way to flat for this king of jumps (for me off course), Bilie Bob dont give a F***. Great Edit for sure!!!

It's hard to watch edits like this with 4 months of winter ahead of us. Might just bank these for spring.
