Wyntv is a staple in my life. He is able to capture the human side of EWS/DH because he also races those events. Its one of the best sources of info from riders about what actually happened because they are talking directly to someone who just experienced exactly what they did. And the random mic holder every week is an added bonus! And they raise money for privateers..

So you gotta be happy with that then?

: I’m worried outside will cancel wyntv

Wyn was just about to ask Rude where that 10 pounds of muscle from his neck went, and then Rude pulled out that $300Eur out... I guess someone else will have to ask him now. Brilliant.

What is the theme of these shows? Is this informative? Is Wyn funny & playful, or just pejorative? Seems like he talks a ton of shit to people who don’t speak English well, or if they’re not like a top-10 rider. I have to say, I really enjoyed when Rob Warner was giving it back to Wyn on one of Rob’s shows a few months ago when Wyn got beat at some DH race in Britain.

The theme is first hand thoughts and insights from riders with a little bit of Wyn humor sprinkled around. At the end of the day his interviews are the best first person info we get out of these races and its awesome. He jokes about crashes or bad results but if riders cant laugh at themselves then they have bigger problems than their results....everyone seems in good spirits and knows the drill with Wyn so it doesn't ever seem like people get upset. Im sure he knows what is funny and what goes too far.

Wyn is great and I look forward to every installment of WynTV. He has come a long, long way (even though I miss the "3 in the pink, 1 in the stink" days).

Banter between racers, that's the theme. You can see the stark difference between the PB produced videos that come across as fanboys in contrast to Wyn who's a peer and gets a totally different vibe. He doesn't banter with people that aren't up for it (the Athertons, for example). Plus, who's out there putting money directly in the pockets of the privateers and sharing a little bit of the limelight?

minute 1:08 lol

: I agree he could improve the way he talks to non-native English speakers, who often don't get the context of his jokes or misunderstand his half-sentences. However, some of the non-native English speakers have quite a limited vocab, resulting in a less fluid conversation. Credit to Wyn for going out and getting them on his show regardless.
