Video: You NEVER Stop Learning - Pinkbike Racing

Nov 23, 2022
by Pinkbike Originals

If you think that any world cup athlete is a finished article, think again. Competing at an elite level is all about continuously improving as a racer. Whether it's physical conditioning, mastering your race craft or how well your mindset can handle huge amounts of pressure, there is always progress to be made. To stop developing as a racer is to risk being left behind by the world's best for good.

Dear Pinkbike, could you please cancel Pinkbike Academy Season 4 and make Pinkbike Racing Season 2 and Pinkbike Enduro Racing Season 1 happen? Thank you.

Yes! I would love a similar look into the EWS (though not at the expense of the DH series).

Totally agree! Couldn't have said it better myself.
  • 3 1
Yes, this series is so much better!
  • 2 1
Yes!! (I could have just upvoted but wanted to reinforce my support for this comment twice!)

I came on here to make exactly the same suggestion,

This series is so good. Nice to have the reminder on the pb homepage to go search for this on YouTube. Would be nice to at least have the YouTube link in the article.

"Alanbonk" @alanbonk , that is hate speech and will not be tolerated by me or any of my compadres @100percent come on duder, this is so cringe of you I used to hold you in such high esteem but now I just don't know last time I checked we were on Pinkbikey not Yoytube so lets keep it "PB" as we like to say around these parts. Never stop learning and evolving. #staywokeandalwaysbekindpal #alanbonkisgoingtodobetter

@carlwheezer69: There's treatment available for schizophrenia, you may want to consider it. Even staunch nudists can reach out for help.

Loved that. Again. I'll find out when I watch the whole thing again, binge start to finish, but I swear it's getting better as the season goes on. So compelling. Thank you, Pinkbike.

The production quality, editing and and obvious love that goes into this series lets you really get under the skin of the riders.
Everyone on this series deserves a new contract, but please, please, with cherries on top, don’t let the Pinkbike Academy team anywhere near the next series.

Hey Thibault, you rock man keep getting after it, youre right there and things will go your way as well. Cheers, hope your offseason is going great

Amazing series! I'm a little worried about how this might play out next year with all the changes going on, but I really hope they can accomplish similar things with the team and coverage.

you never stop learning: We f*cking hate the autoplay
  • 5 2
Yes, but when it's Pinkbike Racing it can autoplays its balls off.

@PawnSacrifice: when they add a Chromecast button yes.

Dont care about results - you guys better not drop Thibaut for next year. His riding is so much fun to watch and he truly seems like a great dude. He'll get there, and seeing the process will make the series all that much better.

Such a raw and honest look at things. Easily the best series about racing that I've seen. Well done everyone involved.

I wonder at this level what's considered "acceptable" both in term of Thibaut and PB racing. I mean when you look at the level of guys who regularly finish outside the top 30, you beging to see just how incredibly fast you need to be to make it. It must be horrible for a rider to come in and say "I got 45th" but that's 45 out of the whole world, the millions upon millions who ride day in day out.

It's bloody impressive

Can we get more of Cathro in that mesh nipple suit? Oh my.

Why no msa race day coverage?

Once again, excellent episode.

Honest question, because I am not tech savvy, does the autostart count as views on YouTube for the algorithm or would we have to watch it there?
  • 4 0
Watching the video anywhere will count, but for YouTube view stats it need to play for 30 seconds. So most autoplays that are stopped right away wouldn't count.
  • 5 0
No. This is Pinkbike's video player. It is not a youtube video being embedded into the page. Long story short. Just go to youtube and ideally have them subbed if you want to make sure you're getting updated with this content.

@lepigpen: interesting... I thought they were just link to YouTube but see that JW stopped that a long long time ago. Thanks.

@Vudu74, sorry for the misinformation.

Don't mind me just navigating to a youtube tab now...

Just an amazing series. The videography, music choices, story, and vulnerability. Rivals Clay Porter’s old stuff. I love it. Thank you guys for such great work

Is there anywhere I can donate towards this project? I don’t need a race shirt, but really enjoy the project.
