Video: Luca Shaw's Lousa World Cup Course Preview

Oct 28, 2020
by James Smurthwaite

bigquotesJump on board with Luca Shaw X Burgtec for a taste of the dirt here in Lousā.

This track is nuts! Tonnes of fresh loam, sketchy off-camber sections snided with roots, and high-speed sections with big tables for good measure. It's the all-you-can-eat buffet of tracks for sure. Time to fill our boots.

Long and fast track.. If it rains that trail will suck. Looks like they just dug most of that track yesterday.

A 4:40 track for Luca is like a 9:00 track for me. North Carolina native putting it down!!

 Cool Vido!!!!

Even better, Google Translate tells me that 'vido' in Portuguese means 'lively'. Which seems to suit this course quite well.

@Linkpin: I was about to ask if vido was Portuguese for video - you beat me to it!

@Linkpin: Vido doesn't exist in portuguese vivido yes wich is lively, we also use video in reference to footage or film

Sorry I downvoted you, I didn't got the sarcasm at the first place.

What’s the theme tune? I know it just can put a name to it!

A world cup truck that actually looks fun to casually ride... No way!

My thoughts too! Looks like a properly fun trail, and not as much of a white-knuckle death ride. I'd be curious how it actually rides... video tends to mellow out things...
