Love For Lola
All proceeds from the Dunbar Summer Series will go to the Love for Lola Fund, which will assist with my daughter’s rehabilitation. Lola contracted viral encephalitis in 2008, and as a result she has an acquired brain injury and epilepsy. As a result of her brain injury, Lola is non-verbal, and developmentally delayed. She has a long way to go to regain more of her lost abilities. Lola underwent brain surgery in 2013 to help control her seizures, and she was seizure free for over a year. Proceeds from this race will assist with her school's weekly music therapy, therapeutic tools that will aid in her recovery as well as a disability trust fund that is being set up to aid with her future. Her story is posted at Love For Lola

the ironic thing is that most of the riders on the videos are riding demos

I think the Chris V edit definitely shows a deeper processing. It's not just a riding edit but creates and develops the stated theme. I liked the Youngberg edit too but if you watched it and then asked the question, "what is the theme of this vid?" nobody's answer would be, "intensity".

In the CV vid it keeps you focused on that theme by stating, then building that theme.

Nice work to all of you guys!

 Hey thanks alot bro Smile

Chris v killed it, he deserves the win, as much as I love voting for an underdog, his overall filming and editing and riding is really good, not to say the others aren't good, they were all really good riders too, but Chris v had a catchy intro, and a really good edit.

No..but that seems to be the trend. Is the purpose to judge who is the best shredder or made the best video? Seems the less developed riders should be the ones to go to the Clinic - not the kid who can clear 30 foot doubles!

Peterson/Youngberg...with that level of natural bike-on-trail sound quality...I could go the rest of my life with music-less clips!

 Thanks!

When my girlfriend walks into the room and asks " what are you watching ?" I'm like " shhhh, the wheels turning, cant you hear it?"

and she's like "OOOOOKAAAAAAY.........."

CV nailed the assigned theme more than anybody, hands down, and he had a storyline, not just a good riding edit. They're all great edits I'd say CV's deserves the win though. Zach's was outstanding as well too.

If you watched all these videos and had to describe them using one word, CV is the only one that I think nails intensity. The other videos are great, but they just don't fulfill the requirements of the contest.

Much Love guys, means a lot Smile

All awesome videos but for me It was a toss up for me between dane & zachs vid and the yamada video. The yamada video i think had the better riding and that huge crash at the beginning but zachs video with no music and just the sounds of the bike tearing through the trails was excellent. I voted for the yamada vid since they were both good and zachs had so many more votes already.....

Zach and Dane, great work and great edit. You had my vote as soon as it finished. Great style. Hope you win cause you will learn a lot from Chris and Claire they are extremely fast and incredibly knowledgeable. Bonne Chance.

Definitely Peterson/Youngberg with the best Vid! Might I ask, Is that a secret trail or public? I pass through Pollock Pines on my way up to Tahoe.
  • 1 0
Thanks! It's just a hard trail to find

Are you guys kidding? Karl rode 4 different types of terrain and killed it!!

The Yamada brothers killed it! PHUCK!!!!! They got my vote!
