 We all know who's gonna win this already.

 Oh no, the photo that I liked the most didn't make it through!. Everyone who voted against it must not understand art/photography/mountain-biking/the-purpose-of-this-contest.

 Welcome to democracy.

 We want bikes in the air!

 Paris Gore and Aggy got robbed.
  • 7 0
 Interesting final 4 - definitely comes down to what mountain biking means to you as to which is the winner in the two match ups - the feeling of endless landscapes, beauty and out for an epic ride makes the winners obvious to me.

 Voting is hard. Mad props to all the photographers! Killer job! It's not easy to pick a winner out of all these incredible pics!

+1 up vote to who ever said that in Round 1
  • 5 1
 That would be me, thank you very much! That other photo is pretty great too though, even if it's not as warm and fuzzy.
  • 10 3
 Well done Pinkbikers on the lack of an exploding dirt drifty berm back lit skid photo making it through.
  • 13 6
 I really back Gaffney's to win. Its unique and creative and puts more emphasis on bike rather than scenery. Raaaate that.
  • 6 1
 Hell yeah!
  • 3 2
 I agree that the bike riding needs to play a major role in choosing the best picture. That’s why Sterling Lorence is my favorite. The composition of skill, scenery and light is in my opinion the best
  • 2 0
 Its also composed in a unique way, and a difficult shot to capture from the photographer and the riders perspective

 Best of all its only a screen grab from a GoPro video too

 @cragus-t: that’s a lie

 Baybutt vs Gaffney. Damn Pinkbike, the two best photos head to head. Can both win?

The other two are great as well .

 Fixed, thank you!

 RIP Doggie. This'll be hard... Gaffney vs Baybutt… How did Gore winning the 50/50 get decided?
  • 7 1
 Edit: It's updated... Milner won by 3 votes !!? I've never seen it that close
  • 2 1
 @mtbikeaddict: It's getting hard to decide on some of these.
  • 5 1
 Baybutt for the win
  • 4 1
 where's the rider going though?
  • 4 1
 @mtbmaniatv: yeah it's definitely more of a scenery capture than bike phoro
  • 6 0
 @mtbmaniatv: I've lived near that spot for years and still can't tell... Irony though is that Winnat's Pass is more a popular roadie spot.
  • 1 0
 @Denning76: Got it, maybe he's into ultimate freeriding but don't look like there's a trail.
  • 1 0
 @mtbmaniatv: There isn't one there.
  • 1 1
 @Denning76: You guys seriously can't see the trail, or are you just using that to make a point that you don't like it?
  • 2 0
 @mtbikeaddict: Do you live there? Homie just said there's no trail there. Photo is great but it's just staged if he's not dropping in.
  • 1 1
 @mtbmaniatv: No I don't live there, but neither do either of you. If he's recently been to that exact spot to verify it, fine, I'm more than happy to defer, but even if so, it's still an awesome photo, and I see a line cleared in the growth, going through his front tire, around the rock, and straight down the side. Maybe I'm in error, but that's what I saw
  • 2 0
 @mtbikeaddict: I know the area like the back of my hand. There's not really a trail there. It's open access land but no legal right of way for bikes. Very few people ride their cheeky - I believe the shot was part of a Cotic photoshoot. A fair few people wander up there, hence it looking a bit cleared but there isn't really a proper defined trail there, at least as you see it from ground level. Hell, I'm not sure if what looks cleared in the pic isn't just shadow but I'm no photographer.

  • 4 2
 Richard Baybutt ftw!

 Disappointed the dog one is out.
  • 12 7
 you are probably the only one
  • 3 1
 @jaydawg69: No he's not !
  • 6 9
 I absolutely do net get the love for the gaffney shot. Triggers zero emotion imo and the composition is a bit boring....
