Welsh Gravity Enduro Round Three Stage Preview

After last months round at Afan we move onto Cwmcarn for round 3 of the Welsh Gravity Enduro Series 2015. This round will feature 3 technical stages to test you and your bike to the max! The loop itself is 17km in length with a height gain of 750 meters for around 12 minutes of technical stages! a big reward for little effort.



Here's a breakdown of the stages:

Stage 1: Heartbreak Ridge into Riddler: Approx time 4m 30 seconds...Technical singletrack to begin with before a short open pedal back into swoopy trails in the woods, one short climb before dropping into The Riddler with multi-line choices to confuse you.

Stage 2: Dragon Run into Pedalhounds Black: Aapprox time 5m 30 seconds...Pedally to start then into some tight trees before dropping straight into Pedalhounds, with its mixture of drops and rooty turns this stage will be a true test of the allrounder! (The final table tops will not be used and all major jumps, drops and ttf's will be taped out.)

Stage 3: Y Mynydd DH course: Approx time 4m 15 seconds... Dropping into the right hand line off the start you'll begin the most technical stage of this round! A very short pedal will join you back into the main DH line, tight rock switchbacks and drops ensue before going through the tunnel... taking the left option, this line has multiple small drops and fast sections to test you and your bike! Across the road and under the bridge before hopping up to the left to miss out the table top and hip jump, drop off the second bridge and a flat out run to the carpark to finish (all major jumps, drops and ttf's will be taped out.)

I would recommend a full face for this round but it's entirely up to you.
