Riders Kelend Hawks and Geoff Gulevich spend one wet Washington day riding the local trails around Whatcom County. Take a ride with these two as they get wet and busted on some steep Northwest goods. Thanks to Gravit Digital for making this project happen.

Sweet! A few months ago good friend of mine from Utah came up to visit us here in the PNW (Kitsap Peninsula). He kept wondering why all of the bikes had fenders until we went for a ride on some of the local trails. In the end my feet were muddy, but that was about it, my friend on the other hand looked like he had been attacked by a swamp monster (and lost!). He now understands Smile

Nice to see a local video with the conditions that we ride in 90% of the time.

I don't think I've ever broken a bicycle brake lever, a motorcycle yes, but not any bicycle. Guess I'm not gnarly enough? haha

I had one snap and impale my calf all the way to the bone...26 staples required

Got hung up trying to bail off a skinny (circa 2003)

My little brother broke a lever off one of my bikes with his rib cage one time. Pretty gnarly crash. I wish I had it on vid. Looked like him and the bike were doing locked together two person somersaults down the hill.

I bent one a little going OTB then tried to bend it back and it snapped...

I bent one beyond repair hitting a tree on my DH bike one time. At least it gave me an excuse to upgrade my Elixir 5s.

im on cannondal levers, and they won't break, they're perfectlittle bumpers for my enve dh bars. And hayes seem to hold up well too, ilitteraly fell off the side of a cliff (30ft verticle drop) and the bike smashed bars first, and the hayes didn't even crack!

Hmmm, only have one bike and it just happens to be a 27.5 Covert?
Need a freeride bike to slay huge booters and drops?

Easy.....just replace your rear shock with a coil.
Now proceed to tear the S@#T out of everything in your path. The Covert: "One bike to do it all"

Yet another sick edit of someone on the new Covert just destroying it.

Cute vid. Very nice trail, quiet beautiful and all.
Nice pile-up at 1:05 by the way. But the blood test proved it: the tree was drunk and left its line.

There are probably 100 hidden trails just like that. I'll probably die before riding any of them. Thats why I think edits like this are important. I have ungodly amounts of fun at the bike park, but this? Trails like this are mountain bike Valhalla. EnDoFsToRy
