bigquotesI start off this video by giving Brandon Semenuk one of my Signature Stranger BMX Frames the "Ironmane" because over a year ago he did the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me, He saw potential in my riding and saw that I was riding a 10-year-old mountain bike and Brandon felt that I should be riding something better, So he sent me one of his old bikes and it honestly changed my life.

Fast forward a year and a half my signature frame comes out and I return the favor and we have one of the heaviest sessions to go down at The Wetlands with so many local pros, Sessions like this is what riding bikes is all about, Good times getting sideways with good friends!  Crazy how much more you can float on a BMX then a ticket slope frame, Semenuk looked like he was trying to push a snowmobile over those jumps. Like that semenuk often hangs out where bmx'ers ride, he's said that lots of his riding is influenced by what they do and he spends a lot of time on his bmx. Good stuff, nice to see people giving back to each other, looks like a fun day.

 I thought he moved her through those jumps nicely. That turned down 3 at the end had mad style and float.

 Yeah the steep tight transitions on those jumps cater to 20" wheels that accelerate faster than big wheels. Ups the slingshot effect for sure. My experience has been that mountain bike jumps are built with more mellow lips, so that the much longer bike can actually fit inside the transitions.

No need for suspension, either... so rockin a FS on those jumps is just sucking so much energy out of ya. Only reason you'd really want that bit of squish is if you're old like me and need a bit of a softer landing Smile

 @greg390 It's a SoCal spot but seems to have similar vibes. It's a small wonder that it hasn't been bulldozed though. Anything fun and unofficial seems to suffer that fate in SoCal.
