Linking up once more a couple of months on from my recent video at Falkland, Calum Laidlaw and I decided to head down to Innerleithen last month. We happened across some unexpectedly dramatic filming conditions and the trails were just about empty, absolutely perfect then.

It was all going well, until unfortunately, a few hours into the day Calum managed to pull something in his back - cutting short the day's efforts. As the university semester drew on time became unavailable, delaying the video - but luckily it soon ended and we could continue. With Calum's back all sorted and a light dumping of snow we returned to conclude filming on a chilly December's day. We worked our way from spot to spot, down the hill to finish with a practically balmy above-freezing section at the bottom.

Thank you for watching!

Quite enjoyed that, wasn't trying to be something it's not. Just normal riding and having fun.

Probably going the speed of 90% of riders out there tbh. Looks like a normal guy having a normal ride. Fine by me.

Nikon D5200 with the 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 kit lens mostly at 18mm F/3.5 pushing 2500ISO in the first section and 1000-1600ISO in the snowy section then lower for the brighter sections. 23.976fps at 1/50 and 1/60.

I don't like the different coloured rims. (although it's the sort of thing i'd do)

I snapped two rims while racing Fort William during the sda. Went with a halo rim as i had one that lasted 3 years, only had white unfortunately!
