Whistler Bike Park Phat Wednesday - Race 6

Jul 14, 2016
by WhistlerMountain BikePark
Things were extra #phat last night as racers took on another one of the most popular courses of the year. 273 racers came out to slap some berms and drift the night away on the classic Ninja Cougar, Samurai Pizza Cat, Ho Chi Min course. Turning and carrying speed were the name of the game as riders navigated sharp corners in what felt like perfect conditions. The upper berms on Ninja were daring you to lean it over as far as you could and racers were letting hanging it all out as they flew into Ho Chi Min at the end of the race.

And the U13 boys podium would have been second (through fourth) in Open Women's. Thay make 'em fast round here. Something to do with riding trails and the bike park a lot since the age of 4-6 years old, having good coaching and lots of good riders to follow or copy.

Wait, so the u13 boys 2 and 3 beat the u17 boys 2? That's unbelievably impressive... literally.
