Whistler Mountain Bike Park Updates

It's been a few weeks of the Zone 3 closure on A-Line but the Trail Crew team are excited to finally drop the rope this Saturday.

Boost left. Boost right. Berg showing how it s done on the larger left line past the rock drop.
Team riders Trevor Berg and Tristan Merrick got the first taste of the fresh trail which is running mint. Bigger goes left now.

Unlike the rest of A-Line, Zone 3 (the rock drop section) wasn't touched earlier this season nor has been touched by machines for countless years now. The closure allowed crews to make some fresh changes and to improve the flow to match the rest of the trail.

The Captain taking the honors navigating through newly formed and ultra fresh s-berms on the rock drop ride-around line.
The rock drop ride-around saw a major improvement. Tristan Merrick taking honors.

It has been a long closure for all but now this iconic section is opening Saturday. Get after it and tell us what you think?

New rock drop launch pad.

New landing pad allowing riders to progress before sending it deep.

A little reconfiguration as you first come into Zone 3 of A-Line. You ll see the trail takes you further down before making a right to a large step-up.
The entrance to Zone 3 saw a little re-route with the trail now extending slightly lower before taking a ricky to a new step-up table

@ 1:15, i'd like the line that goes right, around the drop, for that good sized table.
but then i'd want to be able to get back on the left line for the larger floater ... but i can't tell if:

1. it's even possible (track elevation differences, rider congestion potentials), and/or
2. if you could even carry enough speed to get up there and clean the larger left
