Is the name cause of the snow or cause mountain biking is the whitest sport in existence (with the possible exception of polo)?

Skiing is actually the whitest sport (literally & figuratively) at 90.9%, Polo is big in India, Africa and was invented in Persia.
"The skiing thing makes sense, given the sport's Nordic origins" [sic]

Bit let down by the rider list but the article clearly says the rider list does not disappoint so I must be wrong. No Canadians, no Rogatkin, Soderstrom... no Pilgrim either? Mind you, Pavel is an animal and it's good to see so many Brits getting involved.

That was my initial reaction, but then if you look through the list there are some great riders who tend to get overlooked with a lot of the NA-centric events: Pages, Welenta, Jones, Thelander, Alekhin, Testa and Godzeik is a maniac...

I know MacDuff isn't into the comp scene, but these are his kind of jumps--should be there.
