In 2021, when buying a new bike can be extremely challenging, if not impossible, MTBco has managed to do the impossible with huge support from Smith Creek Cycle has teamed up with Banshee Bikes, We Are One Composites , One UP Components, Tannus, Sensus , Magura and Ride Wrap to put together the ultimate Okanagan Trail / Enduro bike.

The Banshee Titan is an entirely new, ground up, no compromise, 155mm travel 29er designed to tackle the hardest enduro days. Don’t be fooled by the fact it doesn’t have huge amounts of rear travel. It will climb and handle far better than the cumbersome competition, and dominate when pointed downhill.

The suspension is incredibly supple off the top due to optimized leverage curve and zero friction linkage to achieve maximum traction . As you ride faster, harder and the trail gets rougher the progression and characteristics of the linkage and stiffness of the frame really come into their own with huge amounts of confidence inspiring control.

Prepare to grin maniacally when charging down through technical, fast, steep, and fun descents. Are you brave enough to explore your personal limits, because the Titan will take you there and encourage you to go further and faster than you imagined possible.

If you’ve already purchased an MTBco 2021 membership, thank you for your support. If not, please keep the trail support going year round by renewing your MTBco membership here.

Tickets are available HERE.

Mountain Bikers of the Central Okanagan (MTBco) is a trail organization that builds and maintains trails and advocates for the mountain biking community in Kelowna and the Central Okanagan. We engage with all levels of government, as well as with other trail groups, to secure trail networks for the future. We also put on social events, group rides and host trail days.

Elevation Outdoors is a Kelowna based charity that has been focused on breaking down barriers to the outdoors since 2007. Our focus is on helping youth find a passion for the outdoors through specially designed programs that focus on mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding and more. We provide all the equipment participants in our program need to participate, transportation to and from the trail head each day, and provide it all at no cost to the participants that meet our eligibility criteria. Since 2007 we have helped hundreds of youth get outside, connect with mentors, and build a better future. With small groups and ratios of 2:1 participants to volunteers the youth are able to build strong relationships and really build their skills over the course of a program. You can learn more about Elevation and our programs at www.elevationoutdoors.ca.

The support from the raffle will help us continue to expand our programming. Since the pandemic hit, the demand for our programs has never been greater. As a response to that, and in an effort to continue to build greater diversity in the outdoors, we are working to develop a mountain bike program that is specifically for young women. To provide a safe, comfortable space for female-identifying youth aged 12-18 to learn and discover the sport of mountain biking we believe will help the participants learn and find a passion that can be with them for life. We believe in the power of sport to change the direction of someone's life, and with the support from MTBco we will be able to develop programming that will have a positive impact on our community for years to come!

Your level of dedication to the local trail societies and all the work you seem to be doing for/with the community has been great to see and watch through your social media. I've moved away from the Okanagan now but it is nice to see this level of commitment. Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to checking out your shop and chatting with you on my next visit home.

Will buy when you sort it. Holy Pail to feel the love is a superb kids lap and we need more like this in BC!

the ticket site is now live!

Did you mean to say Crawford?.... Holy Pail/FTL are West Kelowna Trail Crew (another bike association that you should also definitely join and support).
  • 1 0
@dfbland: well this is confusing. Smith Creek cycles support this and they are just down the road from Holy Pail/ftl, the mtbco website lists Smith Creek zone on theor mapping.
Either way, all trail accociations need support and raffles are a certainly a great way of doing this.

West Kelowna Trail Crew manages Smith Creek. MTBco is on the other side of the bridge. If you want to support Smith Creek donate here:

westkelownatrailcrew.ca

Your money will go towards insuring the biweekly trail days and purchasing supplies. Not sure what MTBCO does to improve their trails...

@DylanDaSilva: If you want to see what MTBCo does come out to one of our weekly trail fit Tuesdays, or help out the members who are digging / maintaining every Saturday. MTBCo does lots for the trails in Kelowna, and this raffle will help them get funding to do more to the trails as well as gain visibility when applying for grants. If you don't like what MTBCo is doing then don't ride our trails.

@DylanDaSilva: and the last comment is exactly why we have 2 separate trail society's rather than 1 collective MTB community...
  • 3 0
@RedVelvet250: If we all work together the riding community will benefit greatly.

@bikertrash: I guess that came across more negatively than I intended.

What I meant is it would be great to see more community trail day opportunities held by MTBCO. I've been to them many years ago, but I haven't seen any on the calendar recently. At the end of the day any mtb organizations core purpose is to improve their trails and build the community which is best done by hosting trail days.

@RedVelvet250: the real reason why there is two trail societies is because we have so many trails that a single club wouldn't have the capacity to manage all of them. I appreciate all the work you've done in Gillard man, it's awesome. I'd love to see more group events up there.
