podium proven? eh? surely if you get on the podium you didnt have to utilise the helmet for what its made to do. maybe it should be crashed-out-in-a-gnarly-rock-garden-and-walked-away-fine proven Razz
  • + 31
Pretty sure George Brannigan did exactly that at Fort Bill

Shame on you for using logic! Lol

Alright, I'm bored, Imma argue. This helmet has a superior airflow due to 17 air vents which improves airflow, so your head gets cooled better on a dh run and if it's cooler you can concentrate better which improves your chances of winning that podium spot. Also, it has a large google cutout which improves peripheral vision which again, improves your chances of a successful run. Come at me.

Oh and i know this shit cause I'm getting one for Christmas. I still entered the the contest though. I feel like such a dick right now.
  • + 31
@kopaczus: I don't agree at all!! If you are googling during your dh run you ain't gonna make the podium
  • + 7
i knew someone would say that aha. i agree. a good helmet makes for a more comfortable place to be and allows more concentration, a cooler head, more breathing airflow ect. also knowing that you are not gonna die if you crash will put you in a better headspace to ride faster and win.

but what is a pinkbike comment section without awful jokes?

Rogatkin finishing his run after that gnarly crash at Rampage 2015 is probably the best advertisement ever for a helmet brand.

  • + 4
If you cant fix it with a hammer, duct tape, WD-40 and a few zip ties then your doing it wrong.
  • + 10
my head is held together with gaffer tape as i cant afford a helmet.

I just broke my d3 carbon in september and now i finished my rehab... this helmet would come at the perfect moment... crossing fingers
  • - 2
Yeah, you're going to give it another go? Or you're just steering clear of the biggest obstacles but still want to stay safe on the smaller stuff. I'm going to enter this one but if you win then well deserved!
  • + 0
@vinay: no in fact i m done with jumps like all the freeride stuff ... but for some trails even if there s no real need for a full face helmet , its so safer IM0 ... and i l really hesitating for reusing the D3 because the impact was big and the visor took a lot of the impact and so the whole helmet is still in one peace ... + when i put it on me now it feels "like before" .. so yeah just dont know what to do
  • + 2
How many drunk people will try to enter twice?
