 Love how many complete bikes are in the advent calendar this year. I am not sure I am going to be able to ride in January after having my fingers crossed for the whole of December.

 It is SO much worse than a Nomad on enve and Di2, it just cannot compare, you would lose whole minutes on EWS race, those rims are not as compliant as carbon, no piggy back with separate LoCo and HiCo which is such an amazing advantage in case you set your SAG wrong! Who can send a massive scrub with that head angle, you would not be able to ride FEST jumps. Nomad with PIKE can everything. So I am not sure I want one...

 what's the story with the suspension layout? I can't tell from the pic but does it have asymmetric chain stays ( that orange part)? Regardless it looks like Fuji have step up their game - I thought they were mostly dept store and mass merch. bikes. It's hard to break the stigma and move upmarket, but I appreciate more decent bikes that aren't north of $5K

 I cannot believe that PB has this many amaing prizes this year! I may not post a lot (or at all), but it is very cool that PB works with the sponsors/manufacturers to offer these prizes for all the readers!

I am currently researching to find out what pagan rituals will help me in these contests.

 If I win this I will re-gift it to my foster child so she can get more into riding. Would be a big upgrade from her rigid Brodie with old school geometry. In turn that bike would also be re-gifted to another kid who needs it.

 I entered only because im riding my 04 rmx for most of my riding, everything except DJ which my 07 jackal takes care of. Anyway it would be nice to ride something a little lighter than 43 pounds!!!

 If you look on there website at the release pictures and video, I am actually the rider in the orange helmet. I can say that the Auric 1.1 27.5 inch (nicer version than this one) is a really bad ass bike. It climbs extremely well but also is great on the descents. It is a very very fast bike. Pretty light and really comfortable in the air. I found myself riding all the trails that I normally ride on my downhill bike with this bike and it wasent a problem. I was hoping they would give me the bike after the shoot, but gave me a pro deal instead so I want to see whats up with all of these other bikes (transition scout, Evil, etc.) before I order it, but I honestly cannot imagine that they ride better than the Auric 1.1, maybe just as good, but it would blow my mind if something rode better. It really is a great bike. Feel free to message me if you got any questions about it.

 My dad has a 02 trek 8000 with the fork so soft it feels like a soggy noodle. He could use a nice upgrade. I'm sure this would make a nice christmas gift as well Smile

 Why are the brakes so meh compared to the rest of it?

 After years of riding and painstakingly building up bikes with ideal components, I've recently decided I don't care as much about the high end brakes anymore. I just want them to brake, not squeal, and have a good lever design. I have some Formula R1 on my main bike, and some of the base line shimano on another, It never even enters my head while riding that it is any less quality than my R-1.....or any other brake I've used for that matter. I think probably that brakes have just come a long way in the last few years such that even the base models are high quality, and this makes it an easy way to shave production costs without much sacrifice.

 The fork and shock take up most of the cost of this bike. I bet if it was spec'd with something from Rockshox, the bike would have a more even build I can imagine.

 Brake technology has gotten super good. Not that long ago xt brakes were needed to stop quickly but now just about any hydro can do a decent job. I mean the only difference between deores and xt's is matirials. The internals are almost identical.

Looks like the rear sus setup on my process 134

 It doesn't though. It's got a pivot in the middle of the chainstay and the shock is compressed by the seatstay. Neither of which is true of the Process.

 Your best bet right now, before North America wakes up to read your comment, would be to appologize for not seeing the differences between this bike and your Process. Call it an honest mistake and walk away....
