Love how many complete bikes are in the advent calendar this year. I am not sure I am going to be able to ride in January after having my fingers crossed for the whole of December.

Giving this bike to someone won't change the world, but for the receiver the whole world will change... I hope someone who deserves it will get it. Good luck everyone!
  • 15 0
It would change my whole world of riding. HT to a fs.

It is SO much worse than a Nomad on enve and Di2, it just cannot compare, you would lose whole minutes on EWS race, those rims are not as compliant as carbon, no piggy back with separate LoCo and HiCo which is such an amazing advantage in case you set your SAG wrong! Who can send a massive scrub with that head angle, you would not be able to ride FEST jumps. Nomad with PIKE can everything. So I am not sure I want one...
  • 4 3
rofl, and there is a guy who down voted you! Big Grin
  • 2 3
@WAKIdesigns Fuji might even have the bike with slacker head angle, piggy back shock and 125mm seat post you're looking for

This thing is too hypeless to be faster than Nomad on Pike and Enve. Can't prove faster

what's the story with the suspension layout? I can't tell from the pic but does it have asymmetric chain stays ( that orange part)? Regardless it looks like Fuji have step up their game - I thought they were mostly dept store and mass merch. bikes. It's hard to break the stigma and move upmarket, but I appreciate more decent bikes that aren't north of $5K

In the largely empty void called my mind that suspension system looks like it would try to fold in upon it's self.

Waki, just sell it if you win and buy that penis that yOu always wanted

Hahaha, thanks for a good laugh hahaha Big Grin

N+1 still counts, even if you get the same bike twice.

Pinkbike: awesome prizes this year!!

Can I donate my old bike if I get this new one?
  • 10 0
I cannot believe that PB has this many amaing prizes this year! I may not post a lot (or at all), but it is very cool that PB works with the sponsors/manufacturers to offer these prizes for all the readers!

I am currently researching to find out what pagan rituals will help me in these contests.

If I win this I will re-gift it to my foster child so she can get more into riding. Would be a big upgrade from her rigid Brodie with old school geometry. In turn that bike would also be re-gifted to another kid who needs it.
  • 2 0
 Awwwwwww.......lol
  • 6 2
I wonder how it rides? If it cost $3000 more I bet ya more hipster riders would wanna check it out instead of just saying un-positive stuff!
  • 2 1
A bikes a bike,a bike is like a mechanics tools. You might have all the tools but you can still be a shit mechanic. But if you are a good mechanic with shit tools you can still get the job done. Don't blame the bike, blame the rider ✌

This would be pretty cool, Still riding an 06-08 Ironhorse warrior LE 26", so almost time to upgrade, just do not have funds for that at the moment. Thanks for listening. Fuji does it right.

Congrats to the winner. Looks like is his bike upgrade is a done deal!
  • 1 2
I entered only because im riding my 04 rmx for most of my riding, everything except DJ which my 07 jackal takes care of. Anyway it would be nice to ride something a little lighter than 43 pounds!!!
  • 1 1
This would be a great bike to have. I would proudly rock it. Everyone is always riding a spesh, sc, giant or trek on my trails.
  • 2 1
thats a nice looking bike, pretty impressive gift thanks Fuji! Good luck everyone.

I must say, fuji bike's look's awesome. Anyone has one of these bikes ? Some feedback ? experience ?
  • 9 0
If you look on there website at the release pictures and video, I am actually the rider in the orange helmet. I can say that the Auric 1.1 27.5 inch (nicer version than this one) is a really bad ass bike. It climbs extremely well but also is great on the descents. It is a very very fast bike. Pretty light and really comfortable in the air. I found myself riding all the trails that I normally ride on my downhill bike with this bike and it wasent a problem. I was hoping they would give me the bike after the shoot, but gave me a pro deal instead so I want to see whats up with all of these other bikes (transition scout, Evil, etc.) before I order it, but I honestly cannot imagine that they ride better than the Auric 1.1, maybe just as good, but it would blow my mind if something rode better. It really is a great bike. Feel free to message me if you got any questions about it.

My dad has a 02 trek 8000 with the fork so soft it feels like a soggy noodle. He could use a nice upgrade. I'm sure this would make a nice christmas gift as well Smile

Why are the brakes so meh compared to the rest of it?
  • 6 1
After years of riding and painstakingly building up bikes with ideal components, I've recently decided I don't care as much about the high end brakes anymore. I just want them to brake, not squeal, and have a good lever design. I have some Formula R1 on my main bike, and some of the base line shimano on another, It never even enters my head while riding that it is any less quality than my R-1.....or any other brake I've used for that matter. I think probably that brakes have just come a long way in the last few years such that even the base models are high quality, and this makes it an easy way to shave production costs without much sacrifice.
  • 2 1
The fork and shock take up most of the cost of this bike. I bet if it was spec'd with something from Rockshox, the bike would have a more even build I can imagine.
  • 1 0
Brake technology has gotten super good. Not that long ago xt brakes were needed to stop quickly but now just about any hydro can do a decent job. I mean the only difference between deores and xt's is matirials. The internals are almost identical.

"Auric’s revolutionary performance stems from the MLink™ suspension platform. MLink brings you the most efficient climbing full suspension bike on the market that won’t sacrifice anything on the descents. "

Looks like the rear sus setup on my process 134
  • 9 0
It doesn't though. It's got a pivot in the middle of the chainstay and the shock is compressed by the seatstay. Neither of which is true of the Process.
  • 19 2
Your best bet right now, before North America wakes up to read your comment, would be to appologize for not seeing the differences between this bike and your Process. Call it an honest mistake and walk away....
  • 4 2
It's a licensed version of the Breezer Repack, not some generic Kona.
  • 4 0
YUP! ASI own Fuji and Breezer.
Have ridden one, can't argue.

People will hound this bike in forums. But probably haven't ridden one!

I f*cked up. Wasn't quite expecting a pivot on the chainstay Razz
  • 1 0
Hey, I fked up too. I saw the picture and thought it was a Rakan, not an Auric. Oooopppps. Still, I stand by my point. So much hate for Fuji out there. But the bikes are rad.
  • 1 0
@hodges, for all intents and purposes, it's a rebadged Rakan. So you' not all wrong Big Grin
  • 1 0
 @the-one1

Yup, Rakan with extra squish!

I'm surprised no one complained its a boost rear end... or is it that like whino's who throw away small change they know they'll get beat up for nagging on a prize that's costing them nothing to potentially win ?
