2020 NS Bikes Decade Frame

The most popular frame among our pro riders. Used by Szymon Godziek and Max Fredriksson in competition. Lightweight, strong and responsive, the Decade has all the features you would expect in a modern pro-level dirt bike frame made by a company with a dirt-jumping heritage. It's designed to work best with forks from 100-140mm of travel and features a fully integrated tapered head tube which can accept forks with both standard 1 1/8” or tapered 1.5 - 1 1/8” steerer tubes. Optional derailleur hanger available separately.

MAIN CHANGES FOR 2020
• Revised geometry with adjusted seattube angle
• Perfect saddle position - easier to clamp knees down on the perfectly positioned saddle for no hander tricks and barspins
• Removable gyrotabs included
• 73mm threaded BSA BB instead of 68mm to avoid bb spacer
• Slightly improved tire clearance

MAIN FEATURES
• Choice of Szymon Godziek, Dawid Godziek and Max Fredriksson
• High-end aluminium dirt jump hardtail
• Incredibly strong yet still very light at just over 2.1kg
• Fits forks with standard and tapered steerer tubes
• Unlimited barspins w/ gyro
• Less damage w/ gyro when crashing or throwing out the bike as the cables are free

To own a dirt jump frame would be great, to have local dirt jumps would be better, to know how to ride dirt jumps would be best.

I don’t know where you’re located, but I’m sure there are DJ’s there, you just gotta find the people who “know people” if you know what I mean Wink .

All you need is a shovel, some dirt, water, insurance(you’ll need it), and passion!
I ride this frame and the Majesty-wouldn’t want to ride anything else

Im an ambassador for Lama Cycles the NA Distributor, If I win, this frame will be donated to a low income kid at my local bike park!

How will they afford to build out the bike?
  • 1 0
That Nerd HD looks pretty sweet. Any reviews out on it?
  • 5 1
When you say 'local', are we talking local in terms of the size of the galaxy? For example Romulans are out? And as for low income, I am waiting for the price of Aventadors to drop so I can upgrade from my Murcielago. I think that is a pretty good indicator that my income is not high enough. Won't somebody think of the Lamborghini owners?

@iamamodel: Yeah def keeping in the solar system. Shipping to Romula is rediculous right now.

@BikersSwag: Well I did not win but I would have thrown in a few parts in the Mix. However I completely understand the point. And do make good on my promise, I ordered a Pair of Pedals so my NS Arials will be gifted this weekend!
  • 1 0
@Varaxis:Not a lot of reviews out yet but I can give a biased opinion. It is a great bike if you are into bike park stuff, and you break parts a lot. It is not great to pedal uphill and it is heavy. However it is stout as hell (like all ns frames but I would say even moreso). Great Entry level freeride sled!

How suitable is a dirt jump frame for a kids bike? Are the frames themselves particularly heavy or overbuilt? I imagine that the head angle is a bit steep but an angleset may sort that?
(Clearly asking so I can later use kids bike for me...)

My brother built a DJ bike up for his 9 (? maybe 10 now? I'm a terrible uncle) year old daughter. She gets along great with it. Children haven't been indoctrinated into the cult of geometry and they just ride.

 My kid only rides boost.
  • 1 1
@slimboyjim: I have an old STP in medium. A few weeks ago I rode an STP size XXS and I barely noticed the difference in the skatepark or the BMX track. If you want to buy a bike for your kids, going for a small size that you could borrow won't be too bad.

26 inch wheels still rock. For pumptracks and DJ. Smile

And DH! What has the world come to?
  • 2 0
Keeping my hopes high and looking forward to win! Broke my bike and can't afford another one due to a lot of financial problems. This one will help might gather parts from my broken bike just to make that frame standing. (If I win) ????
  • 3 0
You’ll do better with your hopes low, or at least leveled. Your wrists will thank you.
  • 1 0
@JackStephen: Might keep it leveled then. Wrists got no problems! I love getting rowdy with my bike.

Knew these 26” parts would come in handy some day...forks., rims, tires.. yes I’d love to add a DJ to the stall.
  • 1 0
I’m over here trying to convert my 29” slacked out hardtail into a dirtjumper and stressing out about finding 29x2.4 BMX tires, how could I possibly forget that a new bike is always the answer?
  • 2 0
Lots of DJ bikes I see just run Maxxis Ikons, which are available in 29x2.35...

Just broke my left big toe jumping, surprisingly more painful than a lot of bones I've broken. This would be a nice present to come back to
  • 1 0
I really hope I win this, I go to my local pumptrack every weekend and would love to have a dedicated dirt jumper. I ride my gravel bike on the pump track as it is my only bike, but it still is super fun.
