At this point, I actually don't want to win and ruin my perfect 24/24 failing streak.

Ha, I'm going for a two year streak!
  • 11 0
Guys don't you think it would be better for PB to save the best giveaways for last? Like having the pike near the end and the other high end things they gave away earlier in the month...just to build up some hype. By now everyone knows they have no chance of winning lol
  • 48 0
I think they did. Nothing says winner like a fanny pack. Picture yourself at a cookout, fannypack on, shirt off, yellow straps glowing. Everyone will know who the cool guy is

I got a source bladder after reading on PB the water would taste plastic free. Wrong. After 1 year it still taste like plastic. In a bad way. The tube is also the shortest on the market. When i reached out to the company, no reply. Stay away.

Just so everyone knows, Source is an Israeli company that supplies the Israeli military with many of their products. The Israeli military and by association, Source, is responsible for committing many acts of genocide against the Palestinian people.

Are you sure this is the ballpark you want to be playing in?
  • 4 3
All these people bashing the hipster... I've literally been counting the days down so that I can order it. Function over aesthetics here boys... on a hot summer day this will be my best friend over my camelbak. It cracks me up to hear people from Colorado or the PNW complain about hot weather.... they really do think it's hot..
  • 2 1
Agreed! I love the hipster idea. Not hipsters, they made me want to shave my beard off. The hipster hydration system I am a fan of. Function is the key, and mostly it'll go underneath a jersey and not ruin form either!
  • 2 1
right!!! I just got my hipster pack a few days ago. beyond stoked on it.
  • 1 0
I've had plenty of triple digit days is Denver. What's your idea of hot?
  • 1 0
It does get pretty hot there in Denver, but it still doesn't have the humidity we have in the south. It's like trying to breathe through a wet paper towel....

This is the first prize I wouldn't even want to win. In fact I'm not even entering. If I did enter and won this thing, I wouldn't even know who to sell it too because I don't even know anyone who uses these things.

Awesome! Just got my ride and hipster back the other day! Excited to use them.

Please stop writing the source pack are "taste free" since they are far worst than the other option on the market.

Source is the best! high quality and cool vibe products
  • 7 9
Is that right? Because my experiwnce with them is dreadful.
I have a 2L reservoir, after 1 year and many washes etc etc it still taste and feel like i am drinking plastic. The water has a strange texture.
Contacted source about it, no reply. Also, the tube is 2 inches shorter than other tubes on the market, so i need to turn my head right in order to drink.

I also have one of the cap/tube system supposed to attach to any bottle. I tried with many bottles... It does not work. Contaced source about it, no reply. Both products were purcheased directly from source.
PB please stop advertising bad products, i wasted $70 on this awful company.
  • 24 3
Dude we get it. You don't like Source. Move on.
  • 2 1
Maybe your experience isn't the only one that matters either. Hmmm.
  • 1 0
Indeed. I had an older CB w/CB bladder, an Osprey bag w/Osprey bladder, and a Salomon vest w/Source bladder. Different strokes for different folks. I don't like CamelBak mostly period. I like the Osprey and Salomon bags for different things, and I've swapped both bladders in and out of my Dakine alpine skiing bag with good results either way. Hose length: don't be so tall or get a better fitting bag. If they made it long enough for you some lone short person would be hating on Source for making a hose that strangles him/her. Taste: it's relative. I thought the CB was the worst, and personally, I'll trade some oddity in the taste of a boring tasteless liquid if it means I stay healthy when I forget to clean/empty the bladder now and again. The Osprey seems good for this, but the Source is outstanding for ease of use, cleaning, and the ability to withstand weeks of "stale" water storage and still not kill me when I drink it. That, and the mouthpiece cap system is simple and works. At least in this one man's opinion. Your mileage obviously varies. Also, if you've only ever wasted $70 on what you thought was a bad piece of kit, consider yourself lucky.
