 Hell yeah! Its about time we saw some well shot, well edited and exciting XC footage!

Downhill is cool and all but there is something about seeing mass starts and people battling head to head that really wins for me.

ALSO Imagine rolling that rock feature with your seat jammed up your ass? f*ck that...!

 Alright, I gotta admit, that was actually pretty cool to see some of those lycra clad dudes picking some nice lines and actually going for it. But come on you weight weenies! Can't you allow for at least a dropper post on those carbon hard tails?!

 Nice Lines, Cool Rides, Loose the carbon seat post and go with dropper, or go will full suspension.

 I kept wanting someone to roll into that line at speed and send the rock drop, instead of rolling it. Definitely a faster line.

 Head to head racing bring a much more competitive spirit into racing.

 @allmountin

The last dude actually does send it instead of rolling it. And most likely way smoother than you or I ever would. ; )

 trimakas and huckers- I laugh when I see comments like that. They're not riding with a dropper post solely to save weight (that's a big part of it for sure), but because they're skilled enough that they don't need a dropper post. Some of those dudes were sending that rock drop and most likely after already doing a lap or two of hard riding. These guys are insane.

 Everyone with a dropper is also skilled enough, they just know better.

 I was once riding the Red Lizard trail, by Monte Sano. Took this tricky, low speed drop, hanging off the back of the bike. Front wheel catches up on a rock, so my body is falling, but the bike is not. Managed to get the tip, just the tip, caught between my falling 200# weight and the back of the seat. Writhing, burning, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible pain. Twice this has happened to me. Had a dropper; didn't drop it. When it happens to you- you will remember this post and curse your featherweight carbon post. Then you will do a mandatory junk check- to make sure everything is still attached.

 I keep trying to think of something funny to say about XC, but its just too damn respectable. Like a nerdy straight A student in school, make fun of his clothes if you must, he still works harder than you do!

 Cooper shreds on a big bike too, he just won an Enduro down there in January. Props to the XC racers who rip every size bike in their "off" time.

 That was sweet, trails look super fun and some challenges thrown in no doubt. Whilst I would take dh above anything else, xc is rad in my book, and pretty damn hard
