Took me a while to figure out what is wrong with the schedule. YOu have the month first!

It's a Canadian website, with like 40% American users.
I also prefer DD/MM/YYYY, but it makes sense for them to use: MM.DD.YYYY.

@yellowtree: What makes the most sense is a world where such arbitrary things as date are uniform everywhere...

or even when they follow a logical progression of smallest unit to largest unit. Posted at 32 seconds past 10 oclock and 6 minutes.

Can't believe I am weighing in on this but here goes... in this particular schedule, the year is given "2021 Race Schedule" using years is redundant as it is a summer sport and does not cross into the next year like American football does for the playoffs. Next there are multiple events in certain months so I would lead with month. The use of one dash when the rest of the schedule used periods is the work of a madman. Now if you want a date format that is easily sortable you go with YYYYMMDD, biggest unit to smallest.

@AyJayDoubleyou: shot tea out of my nose reading that, thanks

@winko: Yeah, we all need to be subservient to "the man". Maybe we can all watch Wall-E together. Did they release that in Esperanto yet?

@yellowtree: Is it Canadian? Hard to tell these days. Like the feature sale banner ad that just went up. Sales is June 30 - July 5 and they promote it as July 4th Sale presumably targeting US users and their 4th of July holiday.... but the thing is our National holiday is July 1, why would PB promote the US holiday as a Canadian website? I sure hope it isn't because of the recent raft of calls to Cancel Canada Day.

So you didn't figure that out immediately when you saw the second round was on the 16th and there aren't 16 months in a year eh?

We write it like someone answering a question about what day it is.
"What is today's date?"
"June 30th, 2021."

6/30/2021
