For 2022 YT Industries is supporting Ethan Nell as he competes in his 5th Red Bull Rampage, as well as Rampage rookie Dylan Stark.

bigquotesThe frame design reflects the spirit of Rampage and its riders. The idea comes from the harsh reality of nature - Rampage often looks like a fight. It's the biggest freeride event, and the imagery of wild, untamed animals fits the scene perfectly. I am very honored to play a small part in this event and to see the riders enjoying their frames! Can't wait to see them in action.Dennis Dastig, YT Senior Graphic Designer

can we get an edit where Ethan chases Dylan down one of their respective Rampage lines....would make for a fitting wildlife documentary/rampage crossover

A perfect Segway into Discovery coverage?

Wild AF Kingdom! I'd watch that

As long as Warner is commentating, and eventually screams "CRIKEY!" after starting the video with "Ahh the American Freeriders in their natural environment."

Only if snoop dog narrates it

 @dhpanda: irrelevant

There it FUCKING is boiz. Single crown with a long cable. Tailwhips and barspins incoming. Will be interesting to see Semenuk and Stark's runs by comparison.
  • 18 0
I'm thinking we'll possible see 3 bikes set up that way.
  • 33 0
@onemanarmy: Pretty sure Rheeder's bike is also single crown with a hydraulic gyro.
  • 4 3
didnt semenuk catch a lot of flack for running this setup last year?

Single crown forks have been common at Rampage since 2008. Riders just choose what works for them and for the kind of run they want to do.
  • 8 0
 @vinay: wouldn't say common....
  • 9 0
@yeah-nah-yeah: yeah he did, but he also caught the top spot on the podium

 @ripridesbikes:

Don't really think Semenuk caught flak for the single crown. I think he caught more flak for how sculpted his run was and how it really relied primarily on 2 hits. It was pretty well established that he was bringing a single crown well before digging started.

And I still think Zink got hosed last year.

Bring back the GNARTAIL??? There was one guy crazy enough once upon a rampage.

Did he just mention a BMX background?!

@suspended-flesh: None of his plans are half-baked

@madeforfunbikes: I never even knew that. Been a DS fan for his insane free ride stunts, and knew he was apt to fly out of the odd skatepark and over the fence...

I love YT's aesthetic. These are really, really good looking. Good luck to all the athletes! Can't wait to see these in action.

My thoughts as well. Timeless and sexy, even for being "that old" already when compared to pace of change in mtb design the last years.

So sick. Thats all i got to say

Sorry to hear that.Get better soon.

@NoskillNotalent: lol. I met Dylan at proving grounds. Awesome dude. Let me have a spin on his bike

@noakeabean: i met him at a bike park. super chill and nice guy. he was also stoned af

I'm pulling for Dylan. His videos are insane. I just hope he doesn't get there and back out like Benderoni did. I was looking forward to his open loop at Rampage aaaaand he backed out.
  • 16 0
Pretty sure Dylan isn´t the type to back out of any bicycle related activity.
  • 6 0
Dylan wouldn't do Elsinore like that.
  • 1 0
@Loki87: Probably won't but I thought the same about Benderoni.
  • 1 0
@MTBfloat: Pretty sure Benderoni couldn't finish his line on time. Spent most of the days working on the open loop, which didn't even work in the end. My memory might be deceiving, but I believe there's an interview somewhere.
  • 7 0
@MTBfloat: Stark never backs out as far as I am aware - that's not his personality. He does get hurt sometimes though and that's what I'm more worried about as a fan.

So what you're saying is these are the "Kenny Powers Limited Editions..."?
  • 5 4
 More like David Attenborough.
  • 2 0
A Kenny Powers on a jetski livery could be pretty damn awesome...

Hopefully no one will call him a cheetah.

Did anyone catch the chainstay length on these beauties??? I'm mean, I'd read a whole article about that.

YT always does some fun rampage bikes, they also do well on world champs bikes.
  • 3 1
For the team they cancel and pick back up every year?
  • 7 0
so basically one has the predator paintjob and the other has the prey
  • 7 0
They now only need a vulture paintjob, a plant paintjob, a funghi paintjob and an turd paintjob to have the full cycle covered.
  • 6 1
155 psi on an X2 for rampage?? Typo??
  • 3 1
I was thinking the same thing. But he's not a heavy dude. If he's running like 165 pounds then those settings are stiffer than normal but not outrageous. If he's 180-190 then that's about normal. Figure that dude rides out there every day. He probably knows how he likes his bike set up. LOL!

YTs have a HUGE amount of anti squat, so the suspension platform is super firm. To the point where you can hold the rear of bike in front of you drop the wheel on the ground and the pedals will spin more than half a circle.
  • 2 0
Yeah weird. I run over 210psi on my Tues at Whistler and I weigh 165lbs.
  • 3 0
I wonder where he got his Michelin DH tires from. In Europe (France and Germany), they have been unavailable since October 2021...
And Michelin don't care to explain why !

Having met & ridden with Ethan in person, I can say that he is one of the coolest riders on that hill. Best of luck to him on Friday.

Who are the five best rappers of all time?
  • 8 0
Dy-lan, Dy- lan, Dylan dylan and dylan....because I spit hot fire...
  • 2 0
Anybody knows Dylan's height? I expected seeing him on a smaller bike (Nell is 5'9 on small and doesn't do tailwhips for comparison)
  • 3 0
This article was a stark comparison. I’ll be leaving now.
  • 3 0
Dylan the door hit you on the way out
  • 1 0
It's interesting how Ethan has less compression and slow rebound and Dylan has more compression and faster rebound. (I'm assuming the numbers are taken from fully closed).
  • 2 0
What's up with Dylan's e13 tires? Logos so dark they're nearly blackouts
  • 1 0
Dylan knows how to set up a bike better? My guess. Or maybe preference.

I see Ethan got the cougar! Legend!

These look hideous, and the most beautiful rigs I've ever seen!

I guess more whip flips comin.
  • 1 0
Do I see a Zebright in the front of Dylan’s bike?
  • 1 0
"What the hell is that? Did you kill a cheetah?"
  • 1 1
that 190mm singel crown must flex as hell.. but makes sense running it in this event though
  • 1 0
Make room nell your same boring flat spins aren’t winning shit anymore
