That's right, the previous El Mar has 445mm chainstay as opposed to 430mm on this new one.

Strangely most of the 26ers rarely come with stays shorter than 420. I was about to recommend the Ragley Piglet which I'm sure rides well, but it does not meet your criteria

No the drop outs are solid steel infused into the frame.
I thought about making it single speed but the drop outs axel slots have elongated.
Yes, the piglet would be spot on but and if I got one I would ride with no problems but, I would love a frame with the geometry of the piglet that can take a 120-130mm fork but with 400-410mm stays.
I loved the OnOne 456 other than the stays always felt too long.
Our trails are steep and twisty so a nimble short end rides great.
Thats why I have been impressed with the slope style bikes.
They have HT geometry and can take a 120-140mm fork with a short rear end!
Simply amazing!

Na to wyglada, ze 425. Niestety jest to docelowo AM wiec waga ramy jest spora. To mnie odstraszalo od zakupu, plus czlowiek by jednak cos innej marki dziabnal tylko malo tego na rynku jest Natomiast koncept skoku 120 z mozliwoscia wstawienia jakiejkolwiek dropper sztycy jest kuszacy.

I personality am just looking for a simple nimble bike that rides well with a 120mm fork for street DJ, and XC AM adventures.
The OnOne was awesome but it too had long stays for what I like.
On a 26er I would like to have at least 410mm rear stays for the trials here in Japan!
