Well all he's doing is getting on his bike while levitating over a jump, the levitation part may be tough but otherwise its quite ordinary Wink

Ya man i could watch this guy ride all day... Well half of the day i know I'd give in and have to ride halfway through the day his riding style just makes me wanna sling my leg over that top tube and shred hard!

Noob question - But I have always wondered how is it that the foot still the pedal whilst doing this doesn't just twist/slip off? Are we simply relying on the insane grip of pedal/5:10 shoe interface or is there some other force at play?

Orrrrrr is it just magic?
  • 28 0
Its magic. Black magic. Bobby Boucher's Mama would call him the devil!!
  • 2 0
Hmm imma have to find me some of this magic...

 Foot = pivot point
  • 2 1
all in the 5.10/pedal grip - which is borderline magic. don't try it on spds though...

the crank is down meaning you can push the bike away without the chance of pushing the pedal around in its circular motion. that is my best explanation haha
  • 1 2
It just kinda stays on, I do nac nacs on whistler trials and my other foot just kinda stays on the pedal

Are the cripple tramp forks pushing against the frame stopping the bike moving away from you?
  • 5 0
No crippled tramps were harmed in the taking of this photo... Wink
  • 1 0
Instinctively, you are pushing against your handlebars and pedals at the same time...? That pressure = grip.

kinda looks like his legs have broken! or some sort of warp on the photo so cool i hope one day i can do something like that!

These "radioctive" knee pads are pure style. I'm not disregarding the awesome trick though. Insane! Looks like Whistler Riders now find a simple whip arcaic!
