A snap I caught of Joey Gough laying the table at Birmingham BMX club, taken from Fridays film shoot.
Stoked we decided to predominantly shoot at 60fps as I doubt a lower frame rate would have actually captured Joey pinning it on some of the closer sequences (I'm not kidding, she's that rapid)
Special thanks to Mark from Birmingham BMX club for being so accommodating, what an INCREDIBLE venue! it's no wonder that the majority of the riders on the day were world class.

It's like she's schizophrenic or something- I get used to chilled Joey hanging down the trails having a laugh and cruising thru the lines wearing a pisspot - so when I see her like this I have to remember she has a dark side, a Miss Hyde, where she turns into a focussed and highly talented race machine! You've gotta love it.

Dude, I've never had the fear on shoot before and you know I've been hit by riders on numerous occasions, I was genuinely shitting myself on a couple of takes this time! The power she's able to generate and sustain is insane! I thought if she hits me now it's going to be far more serious than simply replacing some camera gear.

LOL, Yeah, I kinda underestimated the speed you were carrying and how close you were going to get ! LOL, you may have noticed that on the last few close takes I was facing away from you with headphones blasting in my ears.
