I rebuilt Le Orange as an Ontario light DH/FR/Trail rig that I can still ride DJ with. Also rebuilding the gold Dob over the winter. Tires will probably be getting changed LOL. I cannot stress the phrase light use enough.

Let me know how it's been treating you so far. It's one of the First LePinks we sold and I'm curious to know how it's holding up!

If the weather isn't too shitty I will try and make it out. If it's all wet, probably won't.

No idea. I don't think you rode with her. Little white eskimo. Looks like a little 'bolt'. Silly fast.

is that an 831 on there?
  • 1 0
 Thanks!

Yup, 2010 831 (the OG model). Pre-Shakira coated stanchions!

you figure its strong enough for light dh/FR ?
  • 1 0
For Ontario, yeah. I wouldn't exactly want to take it out west or to Bromont, but it will get me by around here. I had a 36 on it and it was just heavy and overkill for my needs. Rides way better with a 32 on it. I had a 32 Float on it for a while and it rode nice. Edit: As long as I don't get stupid and bend my crown, all will be good.

ooh ok, i was just curious. I was kinda thinking about throwing my 831 on to save weight... but Im planning to go west to ride. plus I am a hack so I decided I'll keep my 36. your reason seems legit though

Thanks, it's fun. Sub-30 lbs, 100mm travel front and rear, and 2 brakes! The only bummer is it's singlespeed, but I can deal.
  • 1 0
yup, all the things you mentioned aside from the singlespeed is that's a good all-around setup; some light dh, trail pedaling with the girl, or even some dj's if the mood strikes..just like my corsair.. and of course love the le color.
