The more I ride in Squamish, the less I want to ride anywhere else. It just may trump North Vancouver as the loamiest spot to ride in BC. Rider: Mike Jones.
Selected by Colin Meagher - Just looking at this shot makes me want to sink a turn in what looks to be perfect brown pow; I'm definitely jealous of Mike Jones in this shot.
The thing that stuns me everytime with pics from BC is that it looks exactly like my place, it's just that everything is three times as big. Therefore we have pictures of loam, moss and tight vegetation, but the rider is much larger hehe
Great photo, as always, by Margus. I feel compelled to point out, once again, that by "loam", you actually mean duff. Unless of course you mean to say that Squamish has the highest amount of soil that consists of a general mixture of sand, silt, and clay (40%-40%-20%), and is a gardening mecca. While "loam" is a buzzword, using "duff" would be entirely accurate.
Personally, I enjoy the unique and flawless composition which aggravates the natural aggression of the opaque landscape surrounding the subject of this piece of exquisite photography.
