had to check it out kinny...looks pretty sweet... don't know much about the frames, but I've seen a few here and there. seems pretty unique which I dig....
Cheers. Yeah, I wish I kept it now. I bought the frame in bad condition as the previous owner rattle can sprayed it so got it resprayed professionally, then got decals. It was a nice bike and rode pretty smoothly. I might build another steel single speed road bike in the future, but an aluminium/modern road bike with gears will be my first priority this time.
@adm750: Thanks buddy. I might make a similar build next time I get a steel single speed conversion and use the gum walled tyres, brown Turbo seat and bar tape. If I can get hold of a Peugeot in my size then I'll make it single speed and have an alu' road bike with gears. I plan on having those and an XC bike as my collection in the future.
Tell me about it! I really feel like stabbing myself I miss it that badly.
I sold it in the end, that was when I quit biking. Only got £130 for the full bike from a local guy, but he sells on bikes so I guess he wanted to make profit from it.
Gonna build another conversion next year I think, I just need to get my GT up and running first.
I was silly to be honest, and just needed money. I wish I kept it now
29'er would be sweet too, I'm going 1x9 on my GT, and most of the parts will be second hand, I think the wheels will only be the new parts I have on it.
