 Old news. Inverted Proto tested under Gwin and Gee a few years ago and now permanently residing at the Fox museum.

 You can. It's called a Float 40 Air. Fox took all the practical features from this design that worked, and developed the Fork that Gwin used to win his last overall world tittle, and took Gee to several podium titles.

This particular prototype fork could not be developed with the stiffness required for world cup pros at a weight that was feasible, so the new 40 incorporates some of the flex that people like, at a weight and stiffness that the companies top world cup bros said felt right.
