good ridge stuff is so dope its not even funny. ive got the smoked braided lines and gold fittings on the op.. i love being able to tell people that my brake lines and fittings are the same ones that go on super cars that hit close to 200 mph. always get a good reaction outta that one! Wink

oh and hopes are dopes! Smile

Agreed. We did have goodridge visit us I think but didn't win a contract with them which is a shame. Each of the fittings are machined separately as far as I know.

So nice Smile all in the details Wink

Yeah I just had to, hahaa.

Stealth...gone mega stealth! Nice. Very tempted to do this to my stealths when I put them on my hardtail

They look so nice this way man, so nice in person.

Did you go black steel or alloy fittings?
  • 1 0
Alloy.....but when I got them I thought maybe they sent me steel by mistake because they look a lot like steel, even checked them with a magnet to make sure, hahaa. So these alloy ones have a real flat black finish, I haven't seen the steel ones in person but maybe that finish is more glossy to match the finish on the brakes better???

I have alloy ones on the new E4s and the part that fits in the lever body isn't the same black as the part on the hose. Most strange. Not overly worried but I expected them to match Frown

Huh, sounds like I got lucky then.....especially since I got one set from CRC and the other from eBay.
  • 1 0
Both mine were CRC. If I hadn't been in a rush, I'd of emailed them. Still look ace though.

The way forward. Pretty sure mine are steel and they are flat black. I did have one set that had a brownish hue.
Have you fitted the fittings properly?

I figure you're talking to Gary cfya?
  • 1 0
 You sir.
  • 1 0
Oh okay, well yeah.....everything went together nice and proper, it's a simple task made that much easier by the Goodridge threaded insert design.

Is what I mean is did you leave a gap between them? I concur, the system is excellent and re usable so if you do happen to change your brakes etc. that's where the good value come in.
  • 1 0
Yeah I left the gap in them, did it like they say.
  • 1 0
Great. I have had some sets that didn't come with instructions and you often see people all over the land fitting them wrong. the 1-1.5mm that makes me rage.

I'm taking a 180 from your approach....full gold banjos and fittings

You mean on your V4's on the Evil? That would look money on that ride. Just wish they had the fittings for the bleed nipple and the lever bits that are silver still.
  • 1 0
Will be doing both sets, Saint & Hope. I picked up all the fittings a while ago (daylight robbery) but haven't been assed yet
  • 1 0
 Hahaa, very nice man.
  • 1 0
Ahhhh let me know if you sell them.
  • 1 0
I think if i wasn't going gold/black i would go full black imo
  • 1 0
They do look pretty dope in person dude.

I have always herd good tails about hope! BuildOn Buddy!

Hopes are the best. Easiest to work on, best looks and quality in my opinion. Smile
  • 1 0
Yeah I have seen/ridden almost every brake out there by now and they don't even compare with Hope in performance and can't even touch the build quality of them......you really should get some Niko Wink

What are those things you put the brake on?
  • 1 0
See the metal wall art at the very top of the picture in the link? It's that, just needed something to add some texture to the photo......

Sweet mother of god.. Eek you got hope Drool

I don't think I will ever buy any other brand brake. Maybe try out Formula one day but that would be for entertainment purposes only, hahaa.

As i am aware of.. overpriced.. sort of on off braking feel.. no reservoir .. so frequently bleeding. And a long bed in period depending on discs.. my mate chucked them..on his am bike..
