Thanks! You should give riding Velodromes a try. I do it every once in a while and it is actually a lot of fun Big Grin

Seems to me that the frame is too big for you, hence your seat slammed forward and a short, high rise stem.

You noticed that well. I'm not sure about the frame size to be honest, it's 55cm/21.5" (ST), and I'm 6'2. I do like my seattube angles as steep as possible, so all my bikes have the seat forward like this Razz I've heard that my stem is too short for me for on the track, but I mainly use this bike in the city, and there it feels more comfy for have a higher and shorter stem. Still might switch the stem one day tho, but it's no priority for me because I really love how the bike feels right now Smile

Good to hear! The edits from that ghetto park were sweet! I'm good aswell thanks. Weather is finally starting to get better and it's time to build my street machine again. Haven't ridden street since my messed up crash in November that messed up my back again. Since then I've only ridden my track bike (on the street and track) and my aggressive xc bike. But it's time to build up my street machine again Smile

 get a 52 ring Smile

I have 13 in the back, so the gear ratio is already 3.3 : 1.

Still want to go bigger tho, but going from 43T to 52T would be a bit too much change to do at once haha.
Especially because 52-13 has a gear ratio of 4 : 1.
Although I would love to try that once just to see how fast my top speed would be with that gearing Smile

Its prettt nuts man id give it a 10\10 so much speed and i ride in the city, very fun$

Thanks Big Grin How much fun it is really depends on the city haha. Riding 50km/h through the city centre of Amsterdam (where I live) without brakes is simply suicidal. And it's impossible to reach your top speed because of all the crossings and red lights everywhere. But my parents live in a more peaceful town and there it's the perfect build. And there I can actually try to push my top speed Smile Amsterdam has a Velodrome tho Smile

Toronto has so many bike paths and what not, its a road slaying session everytime. The 52 would break the mach barrier in the drome

Sounds awesome. We have many bike paths too but the old city centre is built so small and there are crossings every couple of dozen yards, and all the tourists have no idea what a bike path is so they often block the whole path or just suddenly step onto the bike path without watching, which is pretty dangerous. And the taxi's are dangerous aswell as they always ride too fast and recklessly and they don't care about cyclists. Overall I would say this city is bicycle friendly (especially for its size and ammount of traffic), just not for riding 40-50km/h without brakes haha. One day I hope to go to Toronto, I'm sure it's an awesome city Smile

Yeah, every country has its abundance of idiots, just gota be carefull ( why i run a front break, i cant count the amount of times its saved my life). Amsterdam is deffinatly on my list of places to visit seems like a really beutifull city.

Haha yeah a front brake is always a good idea in the traffic. Funny, just today I read in the newspapers that they will change the traffic rules in the city centre of Amsterdam soon to make it safer: top speed allowed for cars will be lowered to only 30km/h, motorcycles/scooters can not use bicycle paths anymore and tourist buses will not be allowed anymore in the city centre. This is great news, the ammount of fatal traffic accidents was way too high (every week at least 1 or 2 deaths in this city that 'only' has 800.000 citizens.
Yeah Amsterdam is an awesome city! I really recommend seeing this city. Together with Berlin it's my favourite European city. Much nicer than London and Paris etc IMO (haven't been to Barcelona yet tho).
