  • 3 1
yo man enough with the racist shit, just because your from country doesnt mean your dumber than others
  • 2 3
it was taken in New Zealand FAK TARD!!! read before you post!!! so why dont you stop building snow mans and learn to read, jack a$$.....
  • 16 0
thats really got nothing to do with the fork, look how it was landed, it will do the same thing if you ave a 888 or a travis.
  • 2 1
 thats bad luck...nad more ...
  • 2 0
 vilneff33 well said!

boxxer world cups are lightweight highly tuned and only really built to last a race before being rebuilt. However, guaranteed if that case was done on any other fork, they would land up in the same or worse condition than them.
You little kids who say "buy zocci" really dont know what your talking about.
You dont see zocci's break as often because they are not used as often.... they are not high performance forks

END OF .
  • 1 2
Not always. Since I made my comment up there ^^^ I went to Fort Bill. There was another guy I was riding with who had Boxxer World Cups. The first time we went down the DH track his forks bent. My DJ3s were fine.
  • 1 0
Your DJ3's are also half the length, Think leverage.
  • 5 0
for all who hate boxxers(me inclusive) - imagine what would happen with another fork in this crash? - every fork would crack or bent. if not, the head tube would ripp off...so it does not matter, the bike were killed...
its really amazing to read the comments here...POD!

 powned!!!!!
  • 6 2
A 'zocchi or a Fox would have done something very similar. I know that people are probably going to be like "l0l stfu n00b mazoracchi r teh seXX0rz r0cksh0x sux" but I don't even have a RS fork. Just saying that a fork would need to be stupidly tough to survive that, which could mean that it's too heavy for racing...

Just my 2 pence...
  • 1 0
 id have to agree
  • 2 0
it is a bit normal that the boxxer broke. this is a race fork which is build to resist to casing but not like that. built to be light, responsive, and enough tough. if someone here is thinking..uumm i've never a 888 broken by a racer, a bit normal because over than 60%(easily) ride boxxer in race.
  • 2 0
yeah you would have needed to be running something like monster ts to get out of that without damage, but they weigh like 12 lbs... but all this guy needs to do is pop some sellotape on that and itll be fine.
  • 1 0
The diving is on the thin tubes. therefore builds submersible pipes Marzocchi thicker. break, there were several occasions when Marzocchi. but they are much more stable. MARZOCCHI Forever. Marzocchi has stability with more experiences. so mainly because they produce motorcycle forks.
  • 1 0
I was there a month before the worlds. the run in for that gap sucked. They also shortened it quite a bit to take the stupid out of it. Definately not easy to hit dry let alone in the rain.
  • 4 0
 shit! thats a sweet fork!
  • 3 2
no that WAS a sweet fork...but id take 888 ova boxxer anyday got 66s on me HT Smile
  • 3 0
Thats probably because you've never felt how much better a Boxxer feels than a 888. Yes the boxxer is weaker than a 888, but it's a lot lighter. It is RACE fork, they sacrificed a bit of strength for weight.
  • 1 0
true the boxxer might be a better quality, and any fork would have snapped here, but i would take strength over weight anyday- IMO
  • 2 0
depends if your racing mate. Boxxer = Lighter and shorter and linear, 888 = Stronger and progressive and long. One is a DH race fork, the other is a DH freeride fork. Theyre entirely different.
  • 4 0
atleast he didnt fall in the water:P
  • 4 0
there is only i thing i can say, Duct tape

dunno bout that mate... its not as iff they just fell apart is it!!? i mean unless he's planning on casing stuff like that again im sure he will be fine with boxxers!!! Smile
  • 2 0
 fuck, thats prety bad dude
  • 2 0
how the f*ck is the wheel fine and the fork broke???
  • 1 0
on the angle that he was going in , i'm supprised that they didn't snap inwards.
  • 0 0
ive seen folding bikes but i don't think thats supost to do that or isthis rocksocs new marketing tactic for 2009 all components fold up for easy transportation
  • 0 0
If you put together how fast he was going and all the force that comes down when you case a double that bad, I think any fork would have failed.
  • 1 0
You cased that like a court-house case, lol that made no sense but anyways, that was a hectic case.
  • 1 0
kirby wats didnt jump that its never been able to be ridden since that day.. u nob.

  • 2 2
that happened to my friend too in my backyard
  • 0 0
 Bahhhhhh thats gottttt to hurt.
  • 1 1
WOW , how you do that ... that wasn't nice !!
  • 1 1
monster T coulda hacked it, sry to c that, glad ur walking still
  • 0 0
is it posible to juste replace the lowers ?? and it would be good?
  • 0 0
i think too much is broken. all the internals are crap, the lowers, and in all that commotion, the stanchions would have gotten scratched, and if you're at that race, you've got enough team backing, to get a new fork for dirt cheap, if not free.
  • 0 1
people are stupid it doesnt matter its a rockshock even if it was a dif one it would still break
  • 1 0
im not saying that a marz fork in general wouldnt break, im talking speficically about the monster T. stupidly strong, but stupidly heavy, and no fork from RS would match the strength.
  • 0 0
If this was to me .... I won't be able to believe it.
