Is the head tube from Paragon too? I assume it's Maxle - how's RockShox with patent rights for you to use it IF you would like to sell it?

no its a shimano thru-axle, dont ask me what the difference is tho. if they had a problem with it, they can go suck a stinky fat dick, cause i did sell it hahaha
oh and the head tube is direct from columbus, i dont think paragon do tapered headtubes yet. if they did they'd probably cost $308US each.

So... who made this headtube for you? I asked about RS as I don not know myself. I know Syntace wants money for using their X12

its a columbus headtube, they sell them as a standard frame weldment in the same way as they sell downtubes, chainstays etc. you get the two cups separate that insert into a headtube blank that you gotta cut to size and braze or tig the cups in. im pretty sure you can get them from Nova online, i get mine from Hillbrick cycles in australia but the price will make you wish you hadnt (they're around $110AU for the set, pretty fukd given that i sell the frames for 600 including paint (yeah i make this shit for free, i just like makin frames)).

600 AUD... That makes looking at stock frames really difficult.
