Better be a nice-ass chain and case for the price tag.

 I think I would rather it come in a paper bag instead and be cheaper.

 I doubt the box affects the price at all. The X10SL comes in this box as well and is slightly cheaper. I think KMC knows they're the only ones on the block making a black 11 speed chain so they can charge whatever they want.

 Ditch the box, price drops by 40$ :p

 You should check out the final pic of how the drivetrain looks. It would have been a shame to put a silver chain on an otherwise entirely black system!
