Some Carbon-Frames got the cables on the top of the downtube, some under the toptube.. i don't get it. Wish i had mine like you have, under the toptube. Also - That thing is woooaaah!!!! Love it! Do you know the weight of her? Wink

 It's because it's a small. 37 lbs.

No way that's 37ibs! Was thinking around 32 or less! :p

You have no Idea how heavy this fork is lol
  • 1 1
Roughly 6-7 pounds! I would have to see this on a scale to believe it!
  • 1 0
Nearly 8 Pounds, 7.8 to be exact. My colleauge has got nearly the same built with the Boxxer Worldcup, ZTR Flow Rims and Hope Brakes and it has got 35 pounds.

I had to google it! It clearly states that the forks weigh in at 3.0kg, so there for that adds up to 6.61387 pounds. My old demo was sitting at 37 pounds and look at the spec! Wink

 It doesn't weight 3.0kg... gewichte.mtb-news.de/img/11/b4/50/11b45062d940ade8f58465fee49a96fd645489d2/large_1016306_635050566554502_787079540_n.jpg

Also my Carbon Demo has got 38pounds with Boxxer, RovalDH, Descendant, Saint, X9,..

Weird! What I got off of a couple websites. It could maybe be without oil for some reason?
  • 2 0
3.0kg is the weight DVO says it has got.. Maybe the gravity where DVO weighed the Emerald was not so high lol But i also weighed it in my shop when we got it, sadly i didn't took a pic of the it, but it was also 3.5kg

I'm not so worried about the weight of the fork, or the bike for that matter. It is so stiff and plush I think it makes up for it.
  • 1 0
Sure, would love to test one too! Customer of us is superhappy with it! Smile

And I wouldn't be surprised if the 3.0 kg was the weight without oil, this fork has a huge volume of oil in it.
  • 1 1
Yeah, i know. But i don't know if its good to run it w/o oil lol

Dropped a whole pound with the enve stem compared to the Chromag I was going to put on there.

Really? How much does the Enve weight? I would love to have Enve parts but daaamn.. i think you know why i won't buy it lol

It also looks damn good with the Enve Bar Smile

Also, i isn't because it is a Small Frame - got a new Frame (Medium) with the same cable-routing. It's because it's 'Murica!

Well I would not use jealousy to describe my feeling towards you, more of a subtle rage that's going to build and build until I kill you and take that bike!!!! Holly shit it's amazing literally perfect!

It's in my hot bike collection now Smile

 Thanks for the love man.

People so bothered about the weight, why???
Forks, might not be physically the lightest, but think about the weight that actually has to move when it needs to...........
now your thinking!!!!

 Small frame? Looks great!
  • 2 0
 Yup, thanks man.

That is literally perfect. Best suspension, wheels, frame material, etc money can buy. Props for doing it right.

Thanks man, fell in love on the first ride haha.
  • 1 0
Could imagine why. You probably intentionally steer into rocky bits with that thing.
  • 1 0
 do you ever ride Northstar?
  • 1 0
Never have, I'd like to though.
  • 1 0

I've got a season pass at snow summit for this summer and I'll probably go up to whistler for a while so idk if I will make it up this summer but it's on my bucket list.

Ha what a joke it does not even have the new enve wheels... Armature Wink
  • 1 0
They recommended I buy these because they're proven.
  • 1 0
Ahah sorry the sarcasm did not go through the internet Razz they look hella nice man.
  • 1 0
How tall are you? Why the Small?
  • 1 0
 5'8"
  • 1 0
I'm 5'8" too, is small the size to go for in the demo? i would have thought medium...
  • 1 0
Depend's on what you're looking for. I like the small, but i'd probably be fine on a medium especially considering the fact that the Demo is a little bit shorter than a lot of DH rigs. I enjoy being able to throw the bike around.
  • 1 0
 Damn.
  • 1 0
