These bones were transported by catholic priests in the mid 1800's. Paris was badly effected my the plaige because all the cemiteries was over capasity and the decomposing bodies were effecting the watershed, hence making everyone sick. So they decided to physicaly move all the bones underground to this abandon mining shaft. Now it's a tourist attraction...wierd hey.
