If you're seriously thinking of getting all this stuff then you might as well sell your bike and get a new complete or a different bike 2nd hand. Would save a lot of money and still have a good spec if you went for the right bike
yes i see your point but i already have the bars, rims, hubs, frame and cranks
also its just a final build kinda thing so will not be done any time soon!!!
Ah okay, in that case I would definitely go for deores over slx brakes as SLX are just overkill and more money... Also unless you can get the fork mega cheap then there's no point getting it, go for a circus instead
yeah i work at a shop so should be able to get the fork relativly cheap by the time i ghet around to buying it, and the slxs (in my opinion) are actually a noticable difference from the deores
oh maybe not then... think it was just a mater of how often the brakes were bled... yeah although i am not sure about the gears but think i would put a chain guide on in the end
Yup, I love my TT's.
Very nice looking build Scot. Don't know much about the frame but the build spec is legit and should look good. I had those rims as well and they are indestructible, hand-built in the beginning and didn't need to be trued even once. Have heard about issues about that Spike stem though. As for your gear question, imo I wouldn't, not on this type of bike......especially if your local trails are somewhat flat. Then with the more common SS gearing you would be fine I would say.
