Any reason why not go for some Deity Compounds, and some other Deity stuff on there too? I know, weight game and all, but you know the Deity stuff won't be breaking on you anytime soon.
I went with the NS pedals for a few reasons. One is that I know that NS makes some awesome stuff, so I'm not worried about their strength. Another is that they're pretty light without being stupid light. Also their design matched the overall look of the bike. On top of all that, Deity is a lot harder for me to get than NS, since the latter is sold through a distributor and the former is factory direct.
And you're not getting EP since you're not a dealer for Deity? Can still get them on CRC, Deity's website, eBay, wherever. But I understand. Both great brands making great stuff. Excited to see the final product dude, I'm sure it'll be sweet!
We are a Deity dealer, technically. And I have nothing against their components. But another thing I forgot to mention was that I decided not to go with Deity because I have run their stuff in the past, and I wanted to try something new.
Whatever works for you man. I've ran Deity's pedals since like 2010 now, recently bought another pair for the Trek, planning on getting another pair for the DJ project.
