Next year we'll try to organize something even bigger and get all the users involved directly. You all know what it was like when you got your first bike as a kid....getting one when you though you weren't is even better. It was rad to see those little riders get on the bikes and start riding. One kid 's first question was....can i jump this bike off the stairs. hahaha sweet
fuck any one who says this pic is gay should be shot. the point isnt that its a bikin pic but that it shows how bikers give back to the community..assholes
God bless You all. The haters, the lovers, the good ones and bad ones.
Shalom.
P.S. I don't believe in god. I just think it's stupid to argue about something so unimportant like POD. I'd like to give bikes to every kid in my neighborhood, maybe they would stop braking fence to get my apples and cherrys
Enjoy the good things. Like giving a bike to a kid who's too broke to ever get one
Usually I don't comment on pictures, but I nomiate this picture for tommorows Photo Of the Day. Nothing to me show better biking-related Christmas spirit. Excellent work boys, you make me proud to be a member of this site. Merry Christmas.
ya ya my mom was out in vancouver and she was like " ya i saw some people handing out bikes to kids and they were workin for a company called... o what was it. pinkbike? something like that." i was like thats frickin sweet so i like went to the website and theres the story right on the front page. WAY TO GO PINKBIKE!!!!! KEEP IT UP.
Good job guy, i'm glad to see that your trying to give back,i know if i couoldn't afford a bike, i would loves you guys fro giving me on. keep up the good work.
P.S. PUFFDADDY, stop commenting on people's pistures, stop being a fag, and most of all, i think pinkbike shouls like, suspend your account for being such a prick.... Have a great day.
u know, some pictures aren't all about the quality of the shot. Maybe some of you should get your heads out of your asses and realize that it might be a POD because of the story behind it. Great job with the donations, I'm sure a lot of unprivileged children have a smile on their faces from this!
This is a great pic, but it does NOT deserve to be picture of the day. The idea that PinkBike has is great and I stand behind it, but I don't think that these sort of pictures should be posted as PODs. There's my rant.........
Chances are nobody of any significance will read this. Radek, and others who helped assemble and finacialy support this, I'm sure most of you dont know 1 / 800 guys or girls who either browser, or a member of this site. But I can tell you right now that was a great act of kindness and alot of people realy look up to you guys now, and this website for that matter. You ultimatly may have brought a little light to a kids christmas who may have had kraft dinner for a christmas meal. You guys are great people. Im looking forward to donating my paycheck next year.
This is a really good thing you guys are doing. seeing this happen brings out the christmas spirit in me and the want to ride! i really think this should be tomorrow's POD. and again great job and merry christmas to all
finally the pinkbike members restor some pride to ourselfs, instead of the normal homophobic/photoshoping/generally abusive and pointless comments. Oh and brilliant work with the donations pinkbike
couldn't agree w/ u more man...positive props...too many haters/ bashers/ posers on the site...good deed for the better good of the community...way to give kids some fun over the holidays, despite the rain in BC/ washington.
stfu bch8e5 its christman bud time to help out the the people who need help pinkbikes my hero maby one of the kids that they gave a bike 2 will be a pro one day all because they got the opertunity frmo pinkbike
great pod there. insaine props to the people helping the less fortunate people. I wish i could participate in doing something like this for a commuinity it would feel pretty sweet GOOD JOB PINKBIKE!!!!!!!!!!11
Just an idea for next year start collecting donations from pinkbikers starting in november 07 if every one gave just like 5-10 dollers then you guys could have alot more bikes and a lot more happy kids =).
hey guys, that's awesome. they have a program like that here in seattle too, probably by the same people! that's really cool that u could do that for the kids...and I agree w/ Chasefreerider37, I think the online donation from pinkbike users next year would be an awesome idea...
Awesome, the fact that these kids have a chance at riding like everyone here is sweet. Thats what Christmas is all about and we should all realise that you shouldnt take shit for granted. Merry xmas everyone
Who cares if its one pic out of the 365 of the year. It's the holiday season, and its nice to see that some people are giving back to the community. Nice to see that some people care.
good job pinkbike its nice to see that people still care about other people man i wish i had a bike i could donate but thats good to see you guys doing that
THIS IS THE STUPIDEST POD IVE EVER SEEN, ITS GOOD AND ALL THAT THEY GAVE THE BIKES TO DESERVING KIDS, BUT THAT DOESNT MEEN IT SHOULD BE POD WHEN THERE ARE RIDERS BUSTING THEIR ASSES TO GET GOOD PICS
throw some dee-max on it and avid juicy 7's, 66's,raceface diablous crank and kenda tires macneil bars and fsa headset and azonic stem crank bros 50-50 pedals and it's good
Why is this pod? So they gave a bunch of kids bikes away...big deal. Should have given the money to the food bank or something, to feed hungry kids instead of putting hungry kids on bikes...
