Just googled Illgill head; my local climb is 360ft taller. You also start from near enough sea level!

I bet it's worth it on the way down! This is my local: http://www.pinkbike.com/video/358359/ Where the trail comes out in the village, it is less than a mile from my door and about 50yds from the Camra 'best pub in Scotland'
