Man, I'm really impressed by your craftsmanship. I love your bikes, they have a distinctive look, good job tup

What kind of race is that?

Thanks Barkit. This is still the first frame I made, with a few modifications to stiffen it up. It's an enduro race at one of my locals, Eastridge. One of the Mini Enduro rounds, if you have heard of them.

I thought you made a hardtail before this one (black &white). Maybe I'm just confused...

Anyway, this sounds good, I wish you good luck for the race Smile

Haha, no I made this then the hardtail. Cheers buddy! can't wait, haven't done a race in ages, will be the first on my own frame too Smile

So how was the race, any ranking Smile ?

Wasn't my best race, ha but I enjoyed the day. I managed to twist my knee when my rear mech snapped pedalling up during practice so could barely walk, let alone pedal. So the 4 stages were pretty painful, haha. Stage 1,3 & 4 were ok but stage 2 had a lot of climbing so lost a lot time there. Think I came 43/76, was hoping for top 30 atleast. But it was a good day, just made me realise how unfit I have become over the last month and a bit of no riding, haha.

Oh also, on stage 4 my shorts ripped and got lodged into my seat somehow, haha. By the time I got to the bottom there was very little left of them, luckily they had an inner mesh lining though. haha

Well I'd say your ranking is far from bad, especially considering the issues you had with your knees and shorts Smile .
If you enjoyed the day, that's a success anyway.

In the end looks like your frame coped with the job very well!
