my only issue is that steel gets rusty, i love the feel etc but i want my bikes foreva, thats my real reason for the ti bikes, they ride like good steel frames without the worry of rusting from inside, this frame in ti would be worth saving for!

Yeas true, my On-One 45650b raw frame even came new with a few small spots of rust under the clear lacquer. Although they state in the description about this and also that the frame will develop futher rust spots under the clear coat with use, but this adds character...Big Grin so they say.

I sprayed mine inside with Boeshield T-9 and wipe/polish the frame with it, so far not had any futher rust, but I'm sure it will end up going rusty eventually.

Don't think I've ever seen a ti-BTR I wonder if they'd make one if you paid them enough...

its a bummer, i speak from experience as a car restorer, the best stuff ive used is waxoyl, keep doing what you're doing bud that will keep it at bay..
