This coat from ACRE falls into the "better late than never" category as it arrived at the show at 10AM this morning. If you are looking for a no holds barred, high end, riding coat then you might want to check out the Meridian Hybrid. This coat is minimalist by design with very few zippers or even velcro closures. In place of more standard pit zips, there are drill away vents in the arm pits and along the back. The Hybrid has a removable hood, waterproof, easily packable, comes in 4 sizes (S, M, L, XL) and 2 colours (Black and Charcoal), and has one rear zippered pocket for storage. At $485 USD this coat is for a very small niche of riders, but if you're looking for a quality then you'll want to try one on.
