Demo 8 with 27.5 front and 26 rear.
I have 27.5 front with Maxxis High Roller 2.4 and rear is 26 with Maxxis High Roller 2.4, Both are set up with ghetto tubeless.
Preliminary parking test after all adjustment was made. I think Im happy with it. Front geo has change and I only adjusted the fork, lowered it down with two medium head set spacer, result was on the spot just like 26. But this time I think I have more control on cornering bike due to the added rubber contact of 650b.
Doing bunny hop was easier to pull up the front, again is this because of the additional height of the 650B, and that saved me energy. That's a plus.
I think with the 26" rear is needed for explosives pedaling like when coming out the corner. I think I have a faster cranks revolution.
So far these are my observations out of the parking lot test. Next will be on the trail at " Suicide" by Agoura hill.
