 ...you must have seen the yellow Mavic Service des Courses vehicles at some point, they've been around since 1973...what about some of the other sponsors ???...Irishman Stephen Roche was racing for Carrera jeans when he won the Tour, Giro and World Champs in 1987...Stephen is the father of Nicolas Roche who'll be joining Team Sky in 2015...

 I just love that crap man, it's part of my passion for road cycling...it's always interesting to see how much the organization and the communication between riders has evolved but how the equipment itself is basically the exact same...of course modern bikes are a few pounds lighter than 50 years ago but still, bikes are still tools to get the job done, they still don't win races...

 there's just so much history and great stories related to all those sponsors and service vehicles...the big 1984 Buick Campy support vehicle for the Olympics' road race is pretty sweet but the orange Team Molteni who sponsored Eddy Merckx has to be one of the most recognized...tup ...
