Project:TICKET update. I felt like posting some current pictures of the state the build is in. The project has been on hold for a long time for various reasons. Not much work left to finish her, and there WILL be more pictures posted when she is completed.

 I happen to like 9-speeds

 Hell I ran 7 speeds.

Aside from a slight shave in weight and simplifying the drivetrain, what advantages are there? Seems like the ride would be very similar. Did you run a clutch mech?

Yeah, it was X01 DH. 7-speed 10-24 cassette with 11-speed spacing. Very proprietary stuff. Basically with a short cage clutched mech it was super tight and accurate shifting. I do wish it had more than a 24t big ring though.

That is seriously nice. I have the same mech on my other ticket except it's a mid-cage and this one is a short-cage. The cassette spacing is 11-26. And with the n/w ring it shouldn't give me any trouble
