Hey, I have a black DSL-1 frame that I bought 14 years ago with the intent of building it up. Never did. I dug it out of storage the other day thinking I would sell it, but it is a beautifully-made frame. Now I'm thinking I'll build it up again, and was looking around the internet for inspiration. You and I might have the only frames in existence -- I can't find another one on the web anywhere.
How do you like the bike, and how is the tire clearance in the back? It looks a little tight.
It's a neat frame. From what I recall they were made by Brew Bikes for Profile. The rear tire clearance is tight compared to a modern bike. I have Tioga tires on it with a 1.95 rear and 2.1 front. Tioga tires are usually oversized, so you should be able to fit a 2.1-2.25 in the rear depending on the brand. Post some photos of your frame, I'd like to see it.
