Do you think just using more carbon would of solved this? I was planning on making my molded parts non structural with PLA or something but they would be much skinnier than the tubing they connect to give space for lots of carbon. i.e ... a 15mm OD molded tube butting to a 20mm tube, then giving 5mm 'spare' for a bigger layup?

Really interesting pics, i've started a similar project myself so these are helpful. Is the BB shell simply epoxied into the nylon with a tight pressfit?
